My buddy is a badminton fanatic and may be getting a x ray mechine by next year, maybe i can shoot my recquets for fun. *ahem* we should test the xray on inanimate objects before using them on our patients right???;p

T joints r for yonex's rackets which include T joints in it.Can't simply compare it with those who didnt have T joints n say they're worse.Esp if u compare it with fake yonex rackets.Fakes r only for those who're looking for looks, not playability or quaility.

I can see that u can't really see composition of rackets from this pics.
Here,so..if sotx got carbon,woven,nano,etc..cant say that this sotx is worse just because it doesnt have t joint huh, compared to any particular yonex which features t joint, but doesnt have a good composition?

Very true, the T-joint technology is patented by younex, and it would be illegal to use the same technology by other manufacturers.. So this (very old 2004) post really only proved that SOTX didn't infringe on Yonex patents :p.

There are plenty of other ways than the T-Joint to add torsion-stability using other material, frame-shape etc (different from Wilson, Head, SOTX, MMOA/Victor etc!!!). To be honest i don't even think a T-joint is always good (especially if you want light, headlight, as it obviously will add extra weight to the head...

    Cheers,

Actually, the gimmick is outside. It uses ti coating to prevent wear out.

really no need to x-ray if you break rackets as frequent as Dink :-= I also have had plenty of NS8Ks and other rackets to make forensic investigation and autopsy on :)

It is actually very sad for me to see Sir DinkALot to break any one of his racquet. All I can think of is another good racquet gone to heaven.

No, you do not want to use dentist x-ray machine. The film is too small and you will use too many of them to make 1 picture. That is why CT machine is perfect, no film, very detail. Spiral CT can even make a 3D rendering of the racquet.

Depend on the power of the CT machine and how tight is the spiral. I know it can see hairline fracture without any problem.

Would x-rays affect the racket in some way, as the machines use radiation?
