For ENG, victory or defeat means either a semifinal place and a bottom position, heaven and earth.

What an absolutely inspiring performance from LCW! He was like superman :D. Such incredible defense there was like nothing he couldn't get back! That's got to be one of the best performances I've ever seen from any player... ever. Sure he had a few down periods where he made a few errors in a row, but between those he was damn near unstoppable... I MUST get a video of this :D (to add to my collection I mean, I was watching of course).

Beating Bao CL, Chen Yu in Indonesia Open and now Lin Dan has surely given LCW back some confidence. Way to go, LCW!

He said that the main reason LD lost was because they had already won 4-0 and he was maybe a little relaxed in playing. He said LD normally play much better when he is playing a crucial match.

Then the interviewer ask why he decided to field LD when he said yesterday he would field CJ if they had already won. He said LD requested to play because he wanted to prepare for the semis and wanted to play a strong opponent as the previous opponents were much weaker.

I really have a mixed feeling now, very complicated. While sad for the MD,i am happy for LCW.Despite of some of the poeples say LD not in fit condition or lose purposely,i think we must admit that LCW performance is super today,we can't denied this.Actually i really satule him,he manage to come back from a very bad situation after losing the coach and always lose in the third round early of this year.We need more player like him, manage to stand up firmly after falling down.Koo/Tan should learn this now because thay are still very young and have a very very long way to go in badminton.

Good job LCW, excellent performance, less error, excellent defense, great attack, very confidence on court.

It seems like LD was not playing at his 100%, maybe not recovered from his injury 100%, or he just wanna see the style of the "New LCW"...
