19 yo Chan Kwong Beng is playing well lately, he was in the ROBOT Vietnam Challenge semis last week. I think Darren Liew will be in trouble here. Well, you may never know. LOL
The first quarter-finalist for INA: Lingga Lie/Devi Tika Permatasari, after they beat Khoo Kian Teck/Frances Liu Fan 21-18, 21-14. Another tough test awaits tomorrow as they will face Koh Yah Sen/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan.
Preview for MS R16 to be played tonight: Mohd Roslin Hashim vs Wong Wai Hong Ashton Chen Yong Zhao vs Chong Wei Feng Markus Wijanu vs Chew Chee Hau Chan Kwong Beng vs Kenn Lim Beryno Wong vs Tangonsak Saensomboonsuk Erwin Djohan vs Tan Chun Seang Chong Li Qunvs Mohd Arif Abul Latif Fauzi Adnanvs Nicholas Kidd Hmm...its possible that 5 out of 8 QF spots will be dominated by MAS Juniors
Your prediction was right.. I think Chan KB will turn 19 on Saturday during SIN Satellite, but I'm not sure.
seems CKB plays much better lately..definitely I would like him to win....I need to know morea bout MAS junior players....
I hope Fauzi can beat Kidd....at least we have one INA representative... Tan Chun Seang has played 3 sets lately...hope he has enough ginseng with him....It will be tough match against Djohan
Of course they are different. Maria Febe Kusumastuti and Febby Angguni. Go to www.badmintonasia.org, Febby Angguni represented INA last year in the Asian Under 16 championship...
XD Korean Kim/Yoo succumbed to SIN pair in 3 tight sets...a chance for Lingga/devi being in semifinal....
Let's wait and see. I have a gut feeling that CKB will win against Lim Kenn. He is adapting very well to Rashid's coaching and learned alot. Too bad he met TCS last week in the semis. Likewise, Lim Kenn seems strucked in the middle of nowhere of late, after winning the Sri Lanka Satellite last year.
Some pics from Today - Thursday, May 31st 2007 Taken by Georgina Chong Wei Feng, Tanongsak (Geor's favourite THA junior!!!) and others.. I see Chin Tze Seong in one of the pics again..
Well i just came back from Pulau Tiga Survivor Island and missed the early stages so far of this tournament. Good to see that the Malaysian Juniors are surviving well so far too! Cheers. P.S. Thanks for the pics. Keep them coming please!
Why they write Liew Daren LIEW??? Crazy.. It's either Liew Daren or Daren Liew.. No results now.. ZzzZzzZzz.. so I brb and buy icecream.. Sunny day in Denmark.. hehehehehe
Maybe Daren got so distracted everytime the Umpire announced his name Liew Daren LIEW that he lost concentration and the MATCH!!! Hope he bounces back soon
Yogendran lost to Arif!?!?! 'time to retire' some people were chanting in last weeks Viet Challanger discussion i remember.
