    I chose mine based on the reviews, usually by ants and others which I considered experts. But I tend to be biased towards new Yonex Racquets.

    by the way the racket feels just by holding it and taking a couple of swings (not necessarily hits, just swings). if it feels good, its good :D

    Like wands and wizards and witches from Harry Potter? I don't think rackets can cast spells though..You'd be called for misconduct, shouting random obscenities during games.

    If you get the chance to try it out, definitely take the chance. Even a light drill session can be more helpful than reading 200 reviews.

    i go by research and price:) i read lots of review that said armortec 500 was good so i got it since it was about $150 CDN+ tax

    i go for whatever looks cool and also by name. Hence my nanospeed 7700. I hate the way it plays but it looks GGGOOODDD! Lol
