Look at the top of the frame. There are 5 muscle bumps on it. If there's no any, probably your NS7000 is a fake one.

Of course, there's no picture showing muscle bump in the link posted by crosstrainer. On the right side of those Nanospeed pictures in the link stated about MusclePower technology but Crosstrainer couldn't find those muscle bumps on his/her racket. So, I asked him/her to look at his/her top racket frame not the rackets in the link. He/she should notice the muscle bumps on it. p.s. pls be aware of misunderstanding
you guys got me worried for a while. thought I got a fake. hehehe a closer look at my racket allayed my fears.
Hi, Hi i just bought a NS 7000 3U, with Bg 65 TI strings for $160AUS off eBay. I am waiting for it at the moment. If i play with nylon shuttles, and i miss hit the shuttle, would the paint chip off right away?
I don't think any of us here are fortune tellers or clairvoyants. If you see a nylon shuttle today, it will bring you bad luck etc. In fact, stay away from Nylons, they are cursed. Feathers are your friends. Geese are your saviours. You should erect a Shrine for Geese to show your appreciation. You will be famous.
I bougth an NS7000 from E-bay a few weeks ago. The racquet frame was broken the third time when I played with it. I then took a look at my racquet and did not see any muscle bumps there. I just wonder I got a fake one.
I hope you do not get it from e-bay (the vender is not mentioned). Be aware of buying fake ones from e-bay.
Today I saw a sample NS7000 with new cosmetics at the Yonex showroom in Singapore. Its maroon in color. Still prefer the old color.
Now that i've played enough with it, I'll post my review of my Yonex Nanospeed 7000. The paint job is probably my favourite out of the nanospeed family. The paint does seem to chip fairly easily, but it is of no concern to me as it does not affect performance. Yonex states the racket is headlight, and indeed it is. Compared to an AT700, the NS7000 feels snappier. Think of the AT 700 as a racket which thunders, and the NS700 which is as quick as lightening. Smashes are definatly lacking, although it is only slightly less. Compared to NS9000 which is more head heavy, the smashes have less speed. However, you don't feel like you're "pushing" the birdie as much as you do with a 9000. If struck properly, it provides an excellent sound and precise aim. Drop shots can be masterfully executed with this racket. However, I have found that it takes getting used to for control shots. It has s steep learning curve, but once you conquer it, the racket becomes your friend. Clears are powerful, and feel stronger than smashes. Wonderful sound on impact, and again, aiming and accuracy is spot on. The balance really helps. For me, this works because I feel that the effort i put into the racket directly corresponds to the length of the shot, where as the AT700 felt more obscure with distance. Net play can be tricky, but rewarding once the feel of the racket is appreciated. Touch shots can be felt through the handle making this very nice for close play. Overall i give this racket a 7.5 out of 10. It is a suitable member of the Nano family. Ifind the 8000 to be redundant in comparison. You either like the 7000 feel or the 9000. the 800 really does feel in between and it is personally not a good feel. For accuracy, defense, and feel the Nanospeed 7000 is the racket for you! (Black KNight Radical replacement grip, and BG65 string.)
