Of all the disciplines, MD is probably the hardest for any one team to dominate... which makes it so much more interesting IMO. It would take two very exceptional players to make a dominant team. KKK and TBH still has a long way to go, I won't worry about them just yet.

In the Singapore Open, I think the duo had done their best. The lost maybe a great lesson to be learnt. Dont give too much pressure to them. Just let them play freely. You do not know what problems they have and what cause them to play that way. So, dont just simply shoot and say its impossible for them to be world number one or be an Olympic champion or win the World Championships. If kien kiat and boon heong can strive from being unseeded to the top ten, i believe they can go further than that. This pair has won four titles in just a few months time. They have showngreat progress. They brought glory to the country. I believe both of them can be better than this. Their early exit in Singapore Open is a very shocking news. But dont just because of their loss in ABC and SO, people lose faith in them. Criticism is good but lets not overdo it. Predicting what they might win in future? saying its impossible to win in Beijing cause China has home support? wow? They can bring hopes to Malaysians but they can create disaster as well. As Malaysians, lets just pray for them and support them sincerely. Critic them if they go big headed cos we want them to win... So, good luck kien kiat-boon heong!:)

It seems to me that without Rexy giving step-by-step instructions, KKK/TBH still haven't figured out how to strategically play to win the matches.

Rexy has always been in constant communications with them during the games. When playing against other MAS players Rexy couldn't be there for them since it would show favoritism.

In conclusion, KKK/TBH must figure out themselves - strategy acument only comes with experience. (Perhaps Rexy needs to teach them how to fish not just feed them the fish.)

Wow! What a comment! By the way, who are you to say all this? If you want to criticise, shoot on their weakness, where your criticism will help them to improve.Criticise wisely! ;) And you call their loss an excuse? Do you know how tough their training is? Well, its normal that champions sometimes do lose. Look at Lin Dan! He lost. Is that an excuse to Lin Dan too? If you have no positive criticism, then don't say anything. :)

Who am I to say this?? Well, just like you, I am here to voice my comments. And just because mine differs from yours , you call it criticism??? Dude, you need to wake up and see that it is a big world out there.

I am saying KKK/TBH lost because KKK dropped the ball after the Swiss Open. He missed the 1st day of training (Rexy was calling his hp but he didnt even answered), he became a big time Charlie after that. And the ABC and now the SO is testament to his prima donna attitude. In short, the boy lost the plot. And yes, there will be days you win and days you lose just like Lin Dan , but in KKK's case it is how he lost the plot. If you dont understand that, then just be quiet and try to assess the situation. ;)
