Please can anyone advise me on how to improve my playing technique with NS9k. Ever since i changed over from at700 it seems my shots have grown somewhat weaker but my defense improved alot (= I'm an offensive player and my NS9k is type X :D

I don't think the technique will change much when u switch to another racket. It usually takes a little while to adjust to the timing. However, taking training and work on your conditions is always good regardless what racket u using.

U r pretty cool. Actually, sometimes, it may take quite a while, like weeks or months to reach the full potential of a new racket. :) (hard to predict though, since everyone is different)

Yes. The range could be from hours to months, or even never (if the racket is not suitable for you).

Personally I feel more comfortable playing with my 3u NS9k X than my 3u AT700. When I play doubles (best of 3 games) I find the AT700 more demanding and taxing than the NS9k x.

You have to swing the NS9000X faster than an AT700 to get the same smash power, and I'm guessing the NS9000X is too stiff for you. If I were you I'd try either a NS9000S or a 4U AT700.

I can adjust to most rackets instantly, how long it takes to adjust will depend on your basic technique and what rackets you've used in the past, I used to use a heavy carbonex 18 for a long time, which means I don't have a problem switching to a lighter racket or a head-heavy racket.

Time for adjustment does vary drastically from person to person. Took me 3 months to adjust to my Nanospeed 9000x from my Aerotus 44. It was well worth it when I did as I not only rediscovered my the smash I was known for but also developed it into a hell of a smash . Now I'm trying to adjust to the AT900P.
