Sure, you guys can discuss how the shuttle goes over 300km/h or how badminton is like tennis, but easier, but the real point is to play right, play safely and have fun. Let's not forget that.
Yeah it's obviously a joke . No doubt about that. But the real question is: Was it a joke about badminton? Or a joke about how many people see badminton (wrongly)? What was the joke pointing fun at? I don't really mind. I thought it was kinda funny too. Nothing to get worked up over.
Of dubious moral and intellectual general awareness? Probably. Developmentally inhibited? Probably not.

mmm.... If this was done by anyone other than americans I would find it funny too. But as they have no idea about sport i.e. all their national sports no-one else plays because they suck, I just find it annoying. Bloody septics, take your american football (or 25 stone muppets in space suits) and stick it up your *****!!!
THAT WAS HILARIOUS! I love the way the guy mocks the standard interview mode of many players when they don't really answer a question when they win. Then the pronunciation is the way some commentators say it on television. The guy did say shuttlecock though!! NOT BIRDIE! and finally... it was funny that the guy was chasing a chicken around for training. as if to say chase a bird or shuttlecock! VERY FUNNY! Some of you guys here really need to realise these guys took some time and put some thought into this and not be so serious. Badmintin is berry berry good sport, it has been good to me!!!
Oh god that was funny - especially the grip bit. I just burst out laughing at that part. I recognise the presenter guy from some of the stuff in www.mega64.com -if you're into videogames you'll find some the things on there really really funny (hell, the new Super Mario killed me). Anyone who uses this video to take the piss out of badminton is just an idiot. Some of you need to lighten up - it's like South Park: if you're offended in any way then the joke is on you.
The chicken chase was from Karate Kid or Van Damme movie or smthng like that. The idea is good, but the timing has to be essential A couple of friends who play badminton, something alcoholic and as a short breather between drinking this movie. On a slow workday like today, it only brings a little smile. And would I talk about the orthodox badmintonians in their cloud castles who woo every comment and critisism, noo Take care, I'm going to play safe, with awaress and maybe even fun tonight.
