    Carbonex 16.

    Hello crashandburn,

I have a Carbonex 16 that I used in high school. I will try and remember how it plays. It is a flexible racquet suited for beginner to intermediate players. The flexible shaft gives decent power but not a lot of control. I had to string the racquet at a higher tension to balance the flexible shaft. If you like flexible racquets then it is a racquet for you.

The oval box shape does provide the carbonex boom when smashing. The racquet is balanced so it would be decent for defense and doubles play.

    Cabonex 16
Oval Head all carbon with Yonex internal T-joint
    Flexible shaft all carbon
    2U G3
    Regular length

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers,

    D-man

I own one, but I were you, I will hang it up..... It is very rare now.....

Be honest, I think it is better for single rather than double.

I own one and I keep it in a safe place :)

All I can say is that Cab 16 is very flexible, not suitable for me now since I prefer stiff rackets. It cannot deliver my smash as I wish since it flexes a lot and I am kind of player who swings fast. Well, perhaps it was just me and incorrect technique. :D I used to play with it when I got to know badminton. It was my second racket after Cab 8.
