    Hi all,

Eventually I decided to choose a Yonex bag instead or a Carlton Bag, for reliability, durability and fashion purposes :D

The 9624-9, In my area, cost about 50 €, while the 7624-9 cost about 45 €.

    I don't mind spending 5 € more for a bag, since it's a investment on the long term. ;)

I have no ideas which one is better since they have about the same shape.
Therefore, I'd like to ask you what are the main differences between these 2 bags ? They seem to be pretty similar ... I cannot make up my mind ...

Thanks for your help & advices ;)

Isn't both the bags the same in size and shape? I think they are only difference in color.

I would recommend the 9624-9 bag, as it also comes with a compartment at the rear end for shoes. 50 Euros for the bag is a bargain!

The cheapest price in the UK is £45 - equivalent to about 68 Euros, while the 7624-9 is around £25

Nope, Yonex says they are the same size but the 9624-9 is slightly larger. You cannot go wrong with either bag. If you want a slightly larger bag, go with the 9624-9, if you want a slightly smaller bag, go with the 724-9.

    Wrong bag. That's the regular 7624, we're talking about the 7624-9, it's the 3 chamber version. :p

Actually the 724-9 has a shoe chamber too but it's located on the top of the right compartment whereas the 9624-9 has the shoe chamber shared between the bottom of the left and middle compartment.

In addition, the 2424-9 has a shoe chamber but it's on top, in the middle compartment. How's that for design? :D

    Thanks for your help Dan

You're right. The bag whose number is 7624-9 is a 3 compartment version.
I think I'm gonna order the two and see which one suit me the best.
I won't have to pay the shipping twice since I will directly receive my merchandise at my next tourney in 2 weeks :)

Sweet! which's your favourite? does the shoe compartment for the2-series and the 7-series yonex bags get in the way of the racket ?

The shoe compartment does not get in the way.

    Overall, I prefer the 2424-9.

    Individually:

Looks: 724-9, nice clean and classy.

Hold Capacity: 2424-9, just a bit bigger than 9624-9. More flexible material.

Fit and Finish: all equal, all excellent, though the 9624-9 is the newest design so I would think it's the best built if I had to choose.

Functionality: 2424-9, by a hair. All excellent.

Durability: 9624-9, thicker strong material than the other two.

You cannot go wrong with any of the three mentioned bags.

Quite agree with Dink here, had the 724-9, 2424-9 & 9624-9.
For now I'm back to the 724-9, cause one of the shoulder straps of the 9624-9 snapped (My fault, just putt to much stuff in )
Having it fixed though, that's the one I preffer

No Yonex bag has true thermal protection. To my knowledge only Babolat, Wilson and a few others have it.
