Very strange that you're all Canadians....oh snap! Anyways, overtraining won't benefit you in anyway. Train to your limit and then stop there, your limit will gradually increase over time.
Some people come seeking advice. Some come for validation. If validation is your forte, then strengthen your resolve and your mind. Oh wait, that's been done. Oh wait, maybe not. Oh wait, ... -dave
i would say that it is not genetic potential, but rather the level of playing the sport you're at. if you're a full time player who has a professional to schedule your trainings this wouldn't be a problem. but if you're just a regular club/sch team palyer (which most of us are) you often find it hard to improve beyond a certain physical level. and of course, never overtrain or overexhaust yourself!
dont worry, you cannot see an overnight change, maybe you video yourself playing now and few years later you will see the difference
I agree. You'll hardly feel you're improving as the changes usually happen very slowly (yeah I know I'm pointing out the obvious). If you're training every day then you're very unlikely to notice such a subtle change that has happened over a long period. If you see a video of how you'd played a year or a few months ago you may pick up on a few changes in your game you hadn't noticed while actually training. And yeah I also agree that it's not good to push your body too hard. That to me is just being counter productive. You just have to be patient about things and if you're really worried about whether you're improving at all, take a video like yy_ling suggested. Myself, sometimes a break from training altogether helps in the end. I'm not sure about anyone else but I think it just gives me a chance to relax and get back to my game fresh. Nothing major, maybe a month is about the longest I'd go without playing. I'm often worried it will cause me to lose my game, but it only takes a day or two usually to get back into it. I know that for me it's something I'd do if I ever got to the stage where I didn't feel I was improving (and I have, and it's helped). Anyone else find that a small break is sometimes the answer? Or would it affect you too much?
Bet on bwin Hi You can bet for badminton. Danish club League. https://www.bwin.com/betsnew.aspx?SportID=44
For me its different from day to day. Usually on Mondays I'm fresh, and can push myself fairly hard. Some days when I'm feeling at the top of my physical ability I can push past full leg cramps and all the burning to where my legs are numb, and I can't really feel the pain / burn anymore. Those are good days. Other days towards the end of the week (Friday, Saturday) when my body is feeling really tired I can barely get through anything without blacking out, or getting dizzy or some other random thing happening. Its frusterating to have some days where you feel you can keep going forever and others where your body tries to stop you from going all out.

If there are betting on badminton, then we will need to replace linejudge with camera and IBF will have to worry about bribe. But of course,if there alot people betting,it a good sign to show that badminton is growing in it popularity
Don't forget about the sports betting ban in the US... or at least the ban on the transfer of funds for gambling.
This is my first post over here. I liked this forum entry the most though, the way you said it was just amazing! See you Later Cheers. Mario
