Maybe it's Master Ants's power level with pre-stretch function :D :D :D!!! Maybe it's the string. NGY95 should last very long with pre-stretch?!?

BG-70 Pro is very tough like BG-65:

Haven't strung my NS-9K X JP yet. Will see if it stands up to 32/35.2 lbs of torture.

Then would you say there is a balance difference between NS 9000S 3U and 2U ???

I also find the 2U more 'powerful' than the 3U.

Presumably, it's because my sample of the 2U is head-heavier than my 3U but it may be manufacturing variations/inconsistency. Incidentally, my 2U and 3U 9000S also happen to weigh exactly the same.

    My NS9000 2U G5 weights 92g with strings.

Compared to my Ti-10 2UG5 which weighs over 100g with strings....

Does the weight include the grip?

I did not add any extra grip to it. So 93g is the weight of the racket, strings and original grip

Yeah, 2U rackets of the past are noticeably heavier than 2U rackets currently.

All my Cab 20 Tour Specials with string and one overgrip are 102-106 grams.

We are cheated on material used during Yonex's manufacturing process :p. No wonder durability has gone down the drain :D :D :D.

I'm not and don't feel cheated at all, I use 3-10 years old rackets. :D

    Just another review:

    NS 9000 Type S 2UG3
    First try: BG85 string @ 23-24 lbs
    Second try: Nanogy 95 @ 23-24 lbs

My previous racket was a NS7000 3UG3 and after the few first plays with the NS 9000, here are my comments:

Not as fast/precise as the NS7000 at net play. But better for clears and smashes. The balance is the same, but feel head heavier. The BG85 fits well the racket, surprisingly good at net play, touch and drops. However, this string is really fragile; I broke it after few hit above de sweetspot. Then, I tried the new Nanogy 95. It is a different string. I would say that you take full benefit of it if you stick hitting the sweetspot. Hittinf the bird off the sweetspot with NBG 95 is like using a bad material and won't get power out of it. Net play is even more tricky. I still don't get used to it for net drops. A big advantage so far is the durability: I still hit off center very hard sometimes and no trace of string damage. A good point. So a think the NS 9000S is a good fit with NBG95 strings, especially for advanced player (I'm not). Very powerful for clears and smashes when hitting the sweetspot, otherwise it is disappointing. In that case, you can rely on the durability of the string at least.

Conclusion: I like to combo NS9000S and NBG95 so far. Still a lot of games to play with in order to get used to it, especially for net play.

I would be interrested to get other feed-backs of NS9000 using NBG 95 strings.
