Looks like Lin/Fairuz are going to blow it, matchpoint to Chinese.

Meanwhile cute JPN girls have taken 1st game against TPE pair. Possibly q-final clash against WPT/CEH.

Yep, they lost it all right. From 20-17 lead to 23-25 loss to CHN scratch pair, this MAS combination need to grow up.

but LCW had done his job...
    maybe can't win...
but the point was so narrow...
as mas aim for 2 point in MS & 1 point in MD...
although LCW lost the point but Hafiz has covered his lost...
    but...
    as we saw...
our MD din get their job done...
tat's why we can't blame all on LCW juz becoz his defeat...
BTW LHI was on his top form now..
know why we can't blame on LCW now?:D

Guys, we lost to Koreans. Why? Cos we have an erratic, inconsistent bunch, and not good enough that day. Our only consistent and reliable player (WCH) couldn't even take the court for the final rubber. The same goes for the sepaktakraw team, very pathetic in the final against Thais.

Not that I'm a sore loser, but I had higher respect for previous teams who gave their all despite losing eventually. Like our '76 Thomas Cup team that beat the odds to qualify for the final against Indonesia. Or the '90 Asian Games team who came from behind to beat Indonesia 3-2 in the semis, and this was after we lost in the first 2 matches.

Wish the entire Men's team had the guts of our bowling team or squash queen. Yesterday the women's bowling trio came from way behind and almost pipped Korea for the gold, losing only by 10 pts. And the men's team rode on that spirit to win gold.
