well.. ask them if they want a game. then obviously you'll get a chance to ask for her name before the game. or after.. when u shake hands. and just go from there.

    Ok here goes

I tried all the advice but that was one of the worst badminton sessions ever. no 1 first game my carlton flare snapped its head in half but still tied by string had to get a crappy wooden raquet with no grip or anything just plain wood form reception after that i lost basically all my games. so coach asked me to play with juniors went down there pissed played for 1 hour juniors beat me coach threatened to move me down. That got me motivated borowed yonex from my 8 year old cousin played well. got headache. by the time i got back to the interemediates the girl went. now with a £60 budget lookin for rackets on ebay.

BTW first game was not with the girl just some other people.
    :crying:

Thanks for reading and not laughin
    actually u can laugh

    :crying:

Will try next week again oh yeah any suggestions for new raquet

Dude take it like a man. Stop whinging and pull yourself together. For racquets read as much reviews as you can there's a bazillion in the review section to fit your price range and don't go looking on ebay. Never worth it.

Never go on tilt or you'll lose the game.

cheer up :), try to talk to her about anything, you need not appear as a super player in front of her you can even ask her questions about how to play, once she becomes your friend you can progress by talking more and also maybe try to learn from her or teach her and joke with her, if you have a chance to play mixed go ahead you can even try to loose and say "dont worry we can do this"

If you want to get her heart, you should let her love you as a person, not just an advanced player. No need to try to show off, to win every single rally against others or something. Be a polite and gentle guy, establish some nice chitchat here and there, and go with your feeling. Overall, she's looking for someone cares, and to share the feeling with, not some badminton coach or a showing off j**k. ;)

Good luck on your games, rackets and the "progress". :)

Take it from a female: just talk to her normally. Like. Try to become friends first, or else you'll just come off as creepy. Or something. ..umm and especially if her mother is there... I'm sure she wouldn't mind if her daughter is making friends.. the love match can come later :D.

    Best wishes,

    Hey, Thivan.
Sorry it didn't work out for you.
But there's plenty more chances you will get.

You're pretty brave for trying, and therefore, I salute you!
