    2pm Pacific? you wish! :p

I see on cctv5 website that the final broadcast starts at 13:25 Chinese time. I think thats 10:25pm PDT tonight. A much better time than the earlier rounds.

I do agree with Badmania,Han and doublesplayer that Kido/Setiawan will have the edge over Lin/Tazari.It's a losers game for Lin and Tazari.Have faith, confidence and tons of fighting spirit to overcome what you lack.As a Malaysian I hope both of you stay focus and united.Play as a team and you all will have an equally good chance of wresting the championship.Be patient and stay as long as you possibly can in order to frustrate your opponents. The beauty of your partnership is that you respect and encourage each other to win the battle.Malaysian doubles pairs usually lack this mutual respect.Good luck! Both of you need it.Think of your coach if it gets tough and never give up.

Lin/Tazari played an incredibly mens doubles game yesterday in semifinal. If they play like that again, they have a pretty good chance of winning. They never gave up, they way they played against Cai/Fu reminded me of Cheah Soon Kit and his partner playing in the Thomas Cup final against favorite Indonesia pair Liem Swie King and Bobby Ertanto, Cheah and his partner were the underdog, but they played like crazy offense and defense and upset the favorite.

It will be a good final game against Kido/Setiawan, both pairs are the rising young pairs, this could be the preview of one of the Olympics or World Championship finals.

Cheah Soon Kit's partner during 1988 Thomas Cup should be Ong Beng Teong.

I'm happy with the gutsy display by Fairuz-Woon Fui in yesterday's match against Cai Yun/Fu HF. The Malaysian coaches are happy too.

This is what Rexy says in today's papers:
"They showed grit by fighting back after losing the second game. I hope they can continue the same way against Markis and Hendra.

"They must go with the attitude that there is nothing to lose against Markis-Hendra and should be relaxed as they were today (yesterday).

"Fairuz-Woon Fui were good under the 15-point system but they have also made great strides under the 21-point system. They should maintain their progress."

And this is Yap Kim Hock's comments:
"......the important thing is that both showed great fighting spirit. After losing the second game, they kept on encouraging each other and psyched each other up. They did not give up. I am happy with that.”

i'm not sure if CCTV-5 will have the broadcast

I'm going to rely on this website: http://www.badmintonworld.org/bbs/index.asp?boardid=169

Chen Yu is the most gifted of the Chinese men's singles players. Lin Dan's gifts are limited to excellent court IQ, incredible stamina (far above all other men's singles players), and excellent around-the-head foot speed and attacks.

The two are incomparable. Chen Yu's talents are second only to Taufik's and not by much. The only less naturally gifted player than Lin Dan among the top singles players is Chen Jin, who has no redeeming skills; it's amazing how far youth and associated speed, and favouritism will get you these days.
