Racket manufacturing doesn't appear to be very precise. I can tell from the depth of the hole drilled into the bottom of the handle. Every racket has more or less a unique depth, even for rackets in the same U class.
I have a 2U and 3U Ti-10, date code within 3 months of each other. The 2U was manufactured later and is head-heavier + absolute weight heavier than my 3U. Looks like i have plenty of off-spec racquets Which is not a bad thing, because a head-heavier NS9000S really rocks
Head-heaviness is not necessarily the same as balance point. You can have a racquet that feels head-heavy yet it has the same balance point as a less head-heavy racquet. Balance point (static b/p) is a finishing qc part of racquet manufacturing. Head-heaviness feel is not.
i would like to ask: 1. is it true that ns9000x there's no muscle power in frame? 2. my ns9000x so vibrate (specially in grip) when receive shuttlecock from hard hitter, is it normal? thank you, any suggestion welcome
humm long long time ago, around post 466 or something, u were tlaking about the shaft and handle lenght relative to the stiffness of the racket, ex: X is shorter=stiffer, S is longer=more flex and you also talked about longer is better for singles(more reach), so S is better for singles cuz its longer, but its better for doubles becuz its more manovarable, wow. im glade i got type S, best of everything, sepically cuz i think X is to stiff, i can give a small review about the S, specially seeing how everyone wants to get a X instead for S, maybe S can be just as good
Noticed many players used the NS9000 during the recent World Championships. Endorsement issues aside, the NS9000 seem to be quite well-received by the players as compared to when NS7000/NS8000 was released.
I think Type S is more popular. In WC, from what I have seen in TV, these are the players using it. 1. Lee Chong Wei 2. Bao Chun Lai 3. Zhang Ning 4. Xie Xing Fang 5. Gao Ling 6. Cai Yun Chong Tan Fook, not sure though, believed he has switch back to Ti10 old colour.
I sat pretty close court on WC and If Bao didn´t repaint the racket red, I am pretty sure he was NOT using an NS9K /Twobeer
Hmmmm....from the just updated Yonex website http://www.yonex.com/badminton/player/topics.html, Gao Ling, Xie Xing Fang and Cai Yun all uses NS9K S.
Hi ants, I am a 13 year old county player, who is well built, and likes to "kill" at every opportunity. Would I be able to use the Nanospeed 9000 Type X? People have said,Because of my age I wouldnt be able to get any power in the shots, and would not be worth the investment. Could you recommend me to either GEt this, Or NOT to get this, and if I do get, what tension to string it at and the best possible strings IYO. Thanks alot, -Smash
Hi all, I had been using cab8 for near to 20 years, and sometimes during play, there might be chance where racket hit together with my partner, but there isnt muct problem with the paintwork at all. Recently i just bought a nano9k and had been playing it for near to a month. One thing i noticed is that the paint work is really suck. The paint work on the frame had been coming off after a few hit with my partner. Although the racket is light and powerful which i like, but i am wondering why a top end racket paintwork is such poorly finish and seems like the frame is really soft. Any feedback from any bros who use nano9k? Thanks
That's the way metallic paint chips. Find any other racquet with metallic paint and it'll be the same result. Cab 8 is metal head and carbon shaft right? paint probably sticks better to metal than to carbon/plastic.
ic, thanks for the advice. Just hope that my racket wont break easily, not really a big problem when the paint chip off. thanks aggain
