LOL! :D Maybe we should create a thread for everyone that loses.

In fact, Kwun, why don't you create a "Why did I lose" Forum. ;) :p

Why stop there? Isn't this the worst WC final lineup ever? 3 all-Chinese finals (including Xie vs. Zhang, which we've seen 10 times in the last two years!), 4 intra-national finals, only 2 countries represented. The only final featuring two different countries was an easily predictable blowout. Ho hum. It is possible, but not easy, to predict something more boring.

Sometimes Finals is kinda boring. Usually the QF and Semis are more exciting.

U r right! even alven and luluk can't keep up wit fu/cai speed, but i think the main calprit here is the 21 points system itsellf which i think is a lousy system!! Players had no change to catch up if lag far behind. The case happened in malaysia open is RARE (LeeCW vs Lindan). In old good time (15 point system), lagging behind isn't a problem, which happend all the time, where player down by 7/8 - 0 may catch up and win the match latter!! I really miss those excitement and unpredictable occurance

I don't think the new scoring system is that lousy. ;) But I do miss the incredible coming backs, like Lin Dan vs Lee CW in All England 06 :D (them again :p )

i think u r looking for excuses for MAL lost. Cai and fu had to play under NSS too. Your statement 'Players had no change to catch up if lag far behind' is very lame. Answer is, don't far behind in the first place. Are you saying the losing team can beat cai/fu if it was play under OSS? what a hogwash. China's success is due to adapting the NSS, why not MAL or INA? The NSS had been employed for sometime now, blaming the lost to the NSS is just whining.

    What are you talking about?
Zhang Ning already got a WC gold in 2003.
She does not need another one.
What she is missing is an All England Gold.
That is the only major Gold medal out of her collection.

Zhang Ning is now the coach of the chinese woman team.
She has also voice her wish to defend her gold medal at the 2008 Olympic in China. (It is a big ? though.)

Please do a little research before making such silly comments.

all i was trying to say is the matches aren't fix, regardless i was correct or not on zhang ning prior WC winnings. She can wish all she want but there are younger and better players by 2008. Wishing and capable getting it are 2 different things.

Yeah but if they were to play Fu & Cai again, I'd bet my money on Gunawan & Wijiya.
