I also recently bought a Ti-10(new version).....N i agree....it is slightly more defensive compared to the old version....the old racquet has definitely got more power but not by far.... When I bought it, the seller told me the head isn't as heavy as the old version....However, i think it has more power compared to my nanospeed 9000x though.....Need to change my strings to bg65s....dont like the bg80s i have on it now....

Overall, I rate it a excellent racquet.....plus racquet price is cheaper and reasonable.....KKK used it b4 so it can't be bad:D

junior you are right, the head isn't as heavy as the classic Ti-10 (as the shaft mentioned about the head light balance).

but personally, i do like the old ti-10 better, maybe becuase I do find it's easier to control my shot (placements).

Is it possible that you guys find the new Ti 10 as a more "defensive" racket because it only comes in 3U and you're comparing it to the old 2U Ti10? Moreover, the words "head light" on the New Ti 10's shaft magnified this impression.

I used to own a 2U Ti10, which broke after a nasty clash, and at that time, no other racket could measure up to it. So I completely understand you guys' discriminating taste in badminton rackets.

Pards, you'll find it in Chris Sports selling for about P8K.

Hmmm I am comparing my OLD 3U5 with my NEW 3U5.

Ouch kind of sad to hear a 2u broke after a clash... :( Try getting the old one no, it'll be gone very shortly.. :(

    Defensive Racquets vs. Offensive Racquets

Oh guys just wondering, since the new Ti-10 is sort of more of a defensive racquet. Do you guys find use a defensive racquet is more diffcult to use compare to an offensive racquet? Or is it that, I have been using a offensive racquet and not use to a def racquet?

speaking for myself, and generalizing a lot:
offensive rackets are harder to use, and require more effort (especially in defence) but reward that with (a bit) more power.
defensive rackets are generally easier to use and feel 'more comfortable' and 'less clumsy' in fast play. but however don't hit that hard.

keep in mind that 'extra power' and 'better defense' are still only marginal icnreeases in your game..

Hmm I assume you use defensive racquets more than offensive? For me, I actually find the old Ti-10 is actually quite good in defense even though it's a offensive racquet. :p I hope I can play a bit more with my new Ti-10. :)

    gheghe...no. I play a woven 11. it's a 2U, head-heavy, stiff, 680mm long beast;) it's offensive, to say the least:D
But my defence is still great, and actually just as good as with any 3U racket (ok, the ns8k was faster)

I was generalizing a lot, because most/some people find offensive rackets hard in defense:eek:
