BG-66 @ 25Lbs works quite well for me. Just a personal preference. Oh....from your prev post at the other thread about buying Ti10.... so u bought/reserve yours already ar??
favorable string on ti-10 My Ti-10 is 2U/G5, currently with a BG-80 string @ 28 lbs tension. great performance! sometimes i use the BG-68Ti, same tension.
haven't tried bg80, which i've heard is really good (my stringer doesn't stock it, bad stringer bad bad!!). i'm currently using bg85 at about 23-24lbs, and it seems to suit me fine.
ah... I wish I can find stringer in singapore who willing to string at 32lbs! most of the stringer here only 'dare' to string as what 'racket recommendation' tenstion
I am sure if you make it clear you wont blame them if your racket breaks, then many stringers should be happy to do you the tension you want. I have a machine that's capable of doing Tennis rackets. So I will have no trouble doing high or super high tensions if people ask for it. I have never seen a racket collape while being strung. I'd certainly would be interested in the experience if people are willing to pay me for the previlage.
My top Ti-10 was strung at 16.5lb about 10 months ago. The string tension is still a little too high when my arm is not warmed up. Once warmed up, my smash is hard and fast enough that my 28lb tension opponents can't return.
ány string/tension yóu like is suitable...there's nothing to 'combine' for something extra..is no bloody Mortal Combat or something... The onyl way to get what you like is to test it out..try bg68ti, I don't like it (that much), I find bg66/bg85/bg80 'better' (but it's personal) I don't like the feel 68ti provides. just start out with bg80. and then find a good string tension. one variable at a time...find your personal bets tension (as you mgiht've noticed it varies among people) then maybe try bg66/85/68ti/88/whatever. just start with a highly rated string (like bg80, most people like it)
already told them many times that I m willing to take the risk... but in the end .. yeah.. one of them willing to do it at 28lbs... but.. i doubt it was really 28lbs..
What is your fascination with stringing so high? Too much stress on the rackets and the string breaks the moment there's a mishit.
Save money and purchase yourself a Babolat Star 5 . In the US, it's about USD3,000 for the basic machine.
i just stringed it at 24lbs BG80, haven't try it out yet. but it feels good though. i use alot of wrist so i hope it helps.
