Yes sir, I'll have to take my time to do it right. :)

Initially, I will say, ML is the most responsive, most powerful string I have ever tried. Way back in the day, when Kong-19 (a gentleman) sent me some ML to try, I didn't know what a treat I was actually getting. ML is a bit slippery though. The PG string is first-rate as well and the neon version grips the bird second to none. The MP is another great string, though more slippery and feels like a toned down version of ML.

Of course, I'll know much more later...

    I couldn't have said better, Dan ;)
I also ordered at least 20 ML strings and a racquet from Kong-19. He is very reliable and sympathic, friendly :)

By myself, i can immediatly tell you PG 65 Neon and Power gripping action is very good. PG 65 Neon feel just more responsive, crisper too. (Durability is good for both except if you mis-hit too much above 24 lbs ...)

Moreover, I found the Neon strings move around more than the Power strings, yet strung at the same tension (23X23lbs)
Maybe the string needs a bit time to settle in correctly, i donno

I'd say, more testing time is needing.
I need to try PG 65 on other racquets at different tensions.

    My top 3 ranking :
    - PG 65 (Neon)
    - ML (a bit slippery but very responsive and playable anyway) and ML XL.
    - PG 65 (Power)

These 3 strings are well durable under 24 lbs, except if you "mishit-a-lot" :p
I just noticed they oftently lose tension instead of breaking.
When tension is too low, well, you know it's time to restring :D ;)

If durability is not a factor it would better to go for the thinner version of ML XL (ML), PG65 (PG66). Within the same family of strings the thinner one has better resilience, superior feel, better control, and less air resistance. You should be able to feel the difference. Thinner strings cradle the cork of the shuttle with more bite yet better stability. Reduced air resistance means more power and speed.

I agree with you Tanepaak, But if you want to use thinner strings then you'll need a string machine :p

I'd be eager to play with PG 66, but even without mis-hitting it will snap quickly.

I'm not ready to spend 40 € for strings and re-stringing per month

I'm looking forward to buy a string machine in summer.
Then, it will be less pricey ... and i'll see if it worth playing with thinner string or not.

But for the moment, i stick with PG 65 Neon/Power and BG-80 (as well as a bit ML set too ...)

It plays very closely to the yonex bg66, but seems to lose tension faster. (the .66mm)

using bg 66 gets expensive coz it snaps like every 2-3 weeks. microlegend xl with the ashaway stencil is a great string at 24lbs

During my uni days in australia, I use to use rally21. Last long but not much of a feeling while playing.

I may have to cancel this string review due to too much string breakage. :( I've been playing with PG66 and ML this past week have broken over 15 strings. I break these two strings as fast as I break BG-66 and BG-85, if not faster. I love the way they play but they just do not last for me.

I'm going to re-string a bunch of rackets and give it one more go. So stay tuned...

Looks like you may be going back to Yonex strings....:D

Have you tried Japanese version of BG88Ti string? looks similiar to BG-80 but thicker....

mishit-breakage? or just normal breakage? why not just exlude "durability" from the revieuw? you are already doing a great job, nobody else has done thise before, probably...after all, we baddy-nutters don't care about durability;)

There is an extensive review of this string already. The tiny bit of extra performance doesn't justify the much higher cost.

I'm still playing/experimenting with PG65 Power. It seems to hold up OK and will continue to try PG65 Neon as well.

    Never tried BG88Ti.

Both types of breakage. It's hard to do a review when the string breaks in less than 1 hour of use, when you try to do a smash test.

Well, since then, I've broken 5 strings in one day. That day, I was swinging hard and mishitting a lot. In addition, most of the strings broken were close to going anyway.

This past Saturday I broke two strings and Sunday I broke three strings. Most were PG66 Neon and ML. I just started to use MP and will give ML-XL a try soon.

I was visiting Sir DinkALot this weekend. I can tell you that NO string can withstand few of his smashes. I saw his broken strings first hand.
