I do not love losing.I like and wish to win even when the opponents are superiors. But when I am so confident to beat my opponents, sometimes I deliberately give up victory.

mmm. Indeed we all should learn to take losing in our stride. We can't beat them all but rather than be badsportsmen, we should learn to take it in our stride to congratulate a person who's beaten us and ponder hours into the night and analysing every move one made during the game which caused him / her the loss....

Other than that do not give up on winning and concentrate on losing rather focus on improving one's self to one's satisfaction..

I love losing also. The only thing I love more is winning 17/16 3rd set.

dunno about losing, but yesterday I played my first inter-association game and was leading 15-0, and eventually ended up winning 21-2 in my second set. Was trying so hard to keep him at 0, wonder if this is impossible with the rally points system?

Well when I play tournaments, or even with friends at the club, the games I learn the most from and enjoy the most is when I lose to a far better opponent. I feel that I am able to elevate my game to my highest possible level when playing against a very good opponent, and even if I lose i feel like I played well and I take it as a learning experience. Of course, winning a close match is very satisfying, but when it comes to losing, I enjoy it unless I played awful and should have won.

This past weekend I played singles and doubles in a tournament. For Doubles, my partner and I have not had too much time to play together - so our chemistry wasnt extremely good. We played pretty inconsistly throughout the day, but then it came to a match against the number 1 seed pair (who happened to be friends). That match was the best we played all day, despite losing. We elevated our game, and despite knowing that our odds of winning were low, we never lost hope and put everything on the line. It was worth being eliminated from the tournament because of this loss, as i'm still satisfied 2 days later.

Like the saying goes, take a loss as a learning experience - despite how cheesy it sounds. IF you do, it will make you an even better player in the future.

no matter who i am playing i always give it my all i hate losing so much (yet it happens far too often)

i think its the fact that i love the feeling that a victory gives and as i get more and more victories the wider the smile on my faces becomes i also find that i become more confident in the shots that i play while i'm on a winning streak

It depend on how you lose it.

I love playing well. When I play well, no matter whether win or lose. I love it.

If you play ****, I am sure the person who beat you won't feel good either... if fact, both of you will feel bad.

nope i dont agree with that if i beat someone i'm still really happy it doesn't bother me if they are playing rubbish all i really want to do is

    1) increase my national ranking
    2) increase the amount of trophies in my cabinet
