For Denmark to win it had to be 3-1 ie 1st single and the 2 doubles is the only hope

Hi I just want to confirm the final day & time...

So the final time will start at 1pm of May 7 (in Japan) which is 9pm (somebody mentioned you subtract 4 hours to get the time) on May 6 for North American fans?

well, yesterday when the danes won the semifinals, pictures of Joachim Persson were shown in all big newspapers (online). Furthermore the quarterfinal and the semifinal, have been broadcasted directly on a almost national TV-channel. My guess is that quite a few danes will wake up early on sunday (game start is scheduled to 6 o'clock in the morning, once more directly broadcasted).

I think labelling anyone including LYB as arrogance is a bit unfair to them, unless you know that person well enough. Someone may be saying something that we do not like to listen. But if we are so tempt to label them as arrogance merely because he/she had said something we do not like, do you agree that we are even more arrogance simply because we cannot take opinion not in line with us. Dear friends, if you still feel it that way; may i ask, had LYB said you are arrogance when you are telling something that he do not agree?

I agree with you. It seems unlikely for Denmark to win by 3-2 judging by their 3rd single's performance in Semifinal. They were lucky to face an inexperience and full of pressures KBH in Semifinal.

This is the last chance of DEN to win the title. Otherwise, I don't think they will make it then after few of their veteran retired.

    Let's go Denmark~ Let's go ~!

Agree, M'sia in the final if WCH play in SF ...what a pity:crying: :crying: but i admire mas team fighting spirit....Bravo..:D :D

As for the Den, they are somthing like do it or never! as most of their veteren are going to retired, i think by 2008 TC in Indonesia we may not see players like KJ, Eriksen, and may be PG any more,....dont see any new up coming yet!

China probably will win 3-1 or 3-0.

Can't wait to watch the 1st singles game. It's gonna be a cracker of a match! If LD starts slowly, PG will run way with it. LD has to drag the game in order to find his rhythm. It's a tough one!

I think that if Gade can manage to beat Lin Dan, everything is possible. That will put more pressure on the other Chinese players, and less on the other Danish.

Also, both Persson and Kaldau have experience with important matches from finals in EBU circuit tournaments. So, if it comes down to a psychological pressure match again in the last MS... just look at the SF... :)

Therefore, like many others have said already, I think Gade will be very important for Denmark tomorrow. And he is hungry!

Also, except for two tournaments, all the major annual tournaments in badminton are played in Asia when all Danes and other Europeans are sleeping or at work. This makes for a completely different situation for Danish and Malaysian fans when it comes to living out their admiration for badminton. Badminton traditions in Denmark are important for all European badminton, and now we want the Thomas Cup home to Europe!

    Heia Danmark!
