Just wondering on Ina's uniform using tang top / singlet which is I thing that's not fit for badminton... when I saw on TV I told they being warming up / practice, I am really disapointed with they uniform , that's uniform will fit in if they have big shoulder like basket ball player.... but hopely they performance is not as "ugly (so to say)" as their uniform.
Maybe the looks aren't the point. I have one shirt that always catches on my upper arm when I try a shot. Sleeveless tops may not be the only way to give one freedom of movement in the shoulders but they are one of the best ways.
I read in an article, the Indonesian players aren't comfortable with the uniform. Unfortunately, they are not told of this until they are in Japan. If not, maybe they will be pumping irons more often
I think the Indonesia team uniform is unique and distinctive. It's good to have something different in badminton and uniform is no exception;D Rafael Nadal in tennis also wearing sleeveless attire and he looks sooo hot! So there is nothing wrong with badminton players wearing that as well, they have the fit muscle to show anyway, haha By the way,Taufik looks good in the new uniform;D
I agree with Melmel. I dont see why know badminton to become more fashionable like its other racket sports counterpart, tennis. Look at tennis players' fashion ........ it is about time now to move toward that direction ......
I agree that this is a right move for badminton to move in in the fasihion department. I can see Yonex is trying different distinctive style of clothings. Thumbs up!
I seriously think that its a trial and error thing, they will learn from this mistake. no offence, just my personal opinion
IMO, this is a bad design. Tennis players can wipe off their sweat between points, but not badminton players. A lot of the sweat comes from the arm pit area. This will be ugly.
I have to agree that sleeveless are pretty confortable to play in especially in prolonged periods of quick over the head shots. Those however just look slightly weird, like they had to be taloir made to suit the players.
Sleeveless could be considered a "step forward in fashion" for badminton players if it actually looked good on them...but they don't lol. Sure the sleeveless shirt looked good on Rafael Nadal but that's because the guy has big nice arms!!Do you see any badminton player with those biceps?? I think they look ridiculous with these new shirts. Kenneth tried it a while back, and now Yonex seems to be trying it out and used indo players as testers. One thing in common, it doesn't look flattering. Like Phydhel, hopefully this is just trial and error thing. I thought Yonex did a good job with the new shirts they unveiled at AE06, now that stuff was nicer. My 2 cents..
i think it's does look ok ... can't say cool though but well.. as long as they play well, and it doesn't bother them.
I think it looks a bit better than previous INA shirts. It may look girly on guys with skinny arms though
I think their new shirt is pretty cool , it is better than the older one and the style is quite nice The sleeveless is nice as well.
it does't look very nice but at least some changes made.. but seems like not many players like it.. something new to the them and us
