That's good to know but this thread is about who are the best, not who you like the most. I like Tony G. the most too. :D

definately Park Joo Bong/Kim Moon Soo.
But I think the result might not reflect the actual best MD since the voters are from different "age". The younger voters maybe never see matches for Park Joo Bong/Kim Moon Soo or other world top MD that already retired. :)

I think the polls tend to favour the newer generation because they've never seen the previous generation played...

I for one have seen park and kim played and know that Park is a tremendous doubles badminton player. He is similar to Tony, i.e. can partner any one and win... but to go further, he can also play in mixed doubles, similar to kim dong moon... but even kim dong moon called Park Joo Bong his guru... so there you have it...
park and kim is the best for me....

I can still remember how park moved around the court... his anticipation is so good that its like he knows where you gonna hit the next shot. Even when he was down here at KL, 1 or 2 years ago to play some friendly games at Chong Wen Chinese school, my ex-national friend even told me that even now, his game is still so sharp at the net and resoundingly said he is definitely much better than kim dong moon when kim was at his prime....

Oh my god, I love this thread! :p

For me, or for my generation rather, Ricky & Rexy are the best. I really miss watching them play!! :crying: Then Tony&Candra come second on my list. Well, both of them are really good players, it's a shame that they had to spilt up

ps: Tony & Rexy played pretty well as a team as well in the 2000 Thomas Cup in KL!!! ;) ;)

    Indonesian doubles rule!!!!!!!!!!

    Candra/tony

i am a fans of candra... i watch nearly all of his tournaments since 1997 till now.... wat i can say is that rexy/ricky are the pioneer of attacking play... but it is candra/sigit who are the master... he smashes nearly every shot(even base line)...... of coz, he is good looking too.....hehehe...
