I think LCW really dominated him on the net. LCW almost net kill 5-6 points. Dominating the net forces Boonsak to lift and LCW would finish him with his jumpsmash.
He has won the Asian gold in 2002...so its unlikely that he has the motivation to play for the gold. At the moment, he is not even exposed to the new system yet, winning only 1 match against Nguyen Tian Minh in Jaipur. He lost easily to LCW. Lin Dan is still the man to beat...because of his consistency. But, I fancy Lee Chong Wei....you have seen how quick he is today and he seems to be pretty comfortable with the new system. I rank Chen Jin 3rd because from the few times I have seen him play, he really impresses me.
LCW was not playing his best today. But still can win. I hope he will recover and play his best in Thomas Cup.
Finally 2 pts for Chien/Cheng after being pegged back for so long. They still trails 6-16. The Chinese should take the first set.
I think he did play very well today. But TC can't only rely on LCW only. We hope the others can perform well also.
It's scarry indeed....especially when he looks really at ease playing the new system. Back to the game...Chien/Cheng lost the first set 11-21. The Chinese pair makes it hard for them to play their normal game. Hopefully the second half is more interesting.
The lead is now 11-4. It has been smooth sailing for the Chinese pair. Chien/Cheng is being pegged back right from the beginning of the match. Its similar to watching Fu/Cai against Tony/Howard in the China Masters semi-final....one way attact from the Chinese pair.
Hmmm...Chien/Cheng beginning to get their rhytm back in the end...but its too late. Du Jing/Yu Yang win 21-11, 21-16 in the fastest match of the final so far.
Oh no .... http://www.chinabadminton.org/bbs/index.asp?boardid=17 is not showing the last match MD! hopefully the BEST broadcaster in the world, RTM will have it live.
