    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone who's either used both racquets or knows someone that has could compare the two racquets? I live in Canada and have the opportunity to buy one of the two racquets but will be unable to try them out first. Anything you guys knows would help me out...Thank you:)

Hi, I'd like to give you some information about Woven-10 and Woven-11

    Woven-10
    Material: Super Carbon+ Woven
    Weight: 89+-2g
    Balance Piont: 293+-5mm
String Tension: no more than 31lbs
    Length: 680+-mm
    Shaft Stiffness: 8.0-8.5

    Woven-11
    Material: Super Carbon + Woven
    Weight: 91+-2g
    Balance Point: 295+-5mm
String Tension: no more than 31lbs
    Length: 680+-1mm

The racquet i'm using now is about 80 grams.. so i did'nt want something too much heavier than that... How is the Woven 13? Between the Woven 10 and Woven 11 which ones gives you more power??

    Woven-13
    Material: Super Carbon + Woven
    Length: 675mm
    Balance Point: 292+-4mm
    Weight: 89+-2g
String Tension: no more than 31lbs
    Shaft Stiffness: 8.0-8.5
    Type: attacking players

If you are a player without much power yourself, you'd better choose relative light ones. Most of powerful and offensive players like to use relative heavy and long rackets. ;)

    Price

It came out to about 166 CND that comes with SOTX ti-65 string, grip and shipping and handling. .. Still cheaper than Yonex High end racquets.

Well I guess this is the LONG awaited Woven 10 Review.. Sorry it took soo long to do but i had to use it and then school got in the way too...

So here's my first review, don't hurt me if it's not that good.

The Racquet is a SOTX Woven 10A...

    The racquet is 89.5g
It's not very stiff I'd say it's between flex and medium flex.
It's an iso head with MP loops on the top half of the frame.
the racquet is really long at 680mm
Strung with SOTX ti-65 at 25lbs

    Power
Being a long racquet, it has a lot of potential for power. It took some time to get use to the racquet but now it's getting better.... the length is good for power.. but the flex feels like it takes some of that power away... wouldn't mind it to be a little more stiff.... I had a Karakal Ti-75 before this...

    Deference..
Being 9.5g heavier than my old racquet and about 10mm longer too, defence came pretty easily. The even balance of the racquet really helps. It is a little head heavy but not too much..

Net shot wise the tension is really nice... a lot of control... when you hit the bird it's very solid... there's little feedback from the racquet though.... but you'll get use to it... all in all it's a great racquet... probably wouldn't mind if it was 5mm shorter... but weight and everythign else is great.. it comes with a G4 size ribbed grip.... oh one last thing.. it has 2 graphic butterflies at 10 and 2 on the frame.. get the 10 not the 10 version if possible..

Thanks BooCloud for the informative and useful review.

I had a Woven 7 which I like very much. However I had passed it on to my son. I am seriously considering getting another SOTX racket.

Woven 11 is a very stiff and head heavy base racket. It also made extra long and ideal for single offensive players.

Might not suit everyone taste, but nonetheless it is a good and solid racket.

Assuming you can flex the racket, the 11 is a complete BOMBER racket, an all out offensive racket, one of the top 3 most powerful rackets I've tried. It's stiff and head heavy. It hits harder than my reference racket, the Woven 7, which is a bazooka in its own right. I believe the 7 is a tad bit stiffer but the 11 is a bit more endloaded. As with all Woven rackets, vibration is minimal and stability excellent.

The only drawback for bomber rackets such as the 11 and 7, the defense is going to be a bit weaker, relatively speaking because the head is heavy. Other than that, it's a first-rate racket, for me. :D

Woven 11 is definitely not for the weak players. The weight is around 92g and the length is close to 680mm which is almost half to one inch longer than conventional rackets. However, if you can really swing a racket then this racket generates quite a bit of power due to its woven construction, racket length and the heavy frame. For defense this type of racket is naturally slower but as most already know if you hold your racket higher on the handle you are in fact making the racket lighter to swing and more responsive thus allowing you to gengerate a faster swing for defense.

Personally I have used woven 11 extensively including using it in tournaments and for "pots" at SGVBC. Overall, its very suitable for aggressive and powerful players.

It's been awhile since i've used my Woven 10A, since then I've moved onto a Nanospeed 8000. If the Woven 10A wasn't so long, i wouldn't have had a problem with it... the extra length take soo much out of defence... however, SOTX racquets are definite, solid and powerful racquets... great alternative or main brand.

    wait a minute....

    10 and 11 differ about 3grams..en 5mm in balance point...but have a +- of 3gr and 5mm...

so statistically speaking one coudl have a woven 11 that's exactly the same a a woven 10....

Statistically speaking, it's possible, but not probable. :p

sorry to dissapoint you...but it's only the paint...

    Dink,
well, not thát unprobable...a +1gram weight difference in a 10 will make it equal to a -1gram 11..other than that 3mm(! 3mm is not thát much) difference in balance-point could easily happen...
so I think the probabailty is quite high...

another question would be: are they eqully stiff? sotx rates them the same..but then sotx only has 2, or 3 different stiffness-ratings...and I don't even know wich is the stiffest...
