i was wondering, which muscle power racket was the first one to come out, and i heard that the mp 99 came out after the mp 100?? and why doesnt the mp 100 have the muscle power strip that most of the mp rackets have
to me, a new user of th MP99, th muscle power strip adds weight and characteristics to th performance, not tht th rackets needed it. but th MP100 has Ti Mesh, addin weight and stabitlity, avoidin th need of tht muscle power strip.to me, tht strip means a lot, but wen u get into th climax of a match, it hrdly shows, even tho th muscle power frame does, all th way.
MP-100 was the first to come out. MP-99 was created based on the MP-100 with minor changes thus alters the characteristics of the racquets.
haha, It makes sense........release the most expensive first and then release the cheaper mp series. What do you mean by the muscle power strip? which part is that the 'round plastic gromets? I think every racket in the mp series are exelent......mp23-mp100 all of them are exellent. It's funny I have played with every mp racket exept the mp44 and out of all of them.......I liked the mp28! and I bought 2 of them. Played with the mp28's for a year until I hit with a ns8k.......now I have 2 of those and now selling my mp28's. The mp28 is underated in my mind.....it is the inbettween of all the mp series with medium flex. My yonex dealer said that the mp100 was discontinued because the majority of players prefered the 99 over the 100 and was slightly cheaper so mp100 sales went down, therefore they stopped making it.
very interesting topic. i find a lot of people in my area desperate to find an authentic MP-100 because it is so hard to find these days. the muscle power strip is a long strip in the 7-8 o'clock areas and the 5-4 o' clock areas. i think for the MP-66, 77, and 88 have built in ones, while the 99 has removable ones.
Ahh the mp28s I have must have built in ones too as I cannot see any thing in those positions that is removable.
