I havent seen Lee TS, Yeoh KB and James Chua beat any Top 10 lately. Lee TS and James Chua play really well at start of their career and then stuck . For James, he had injuries. Yeoh KB, never show any challenge to Top 10 players.

The good players from Malaysia and really dangerous ones are Lee Chong Wei, Wong Choong Han, Hafiz and Hashim. Thats why I predict Malaysia beside China had a good chance to grab Thomas this year.

But Lee Wan Wah had to be in good shape and didn't had any injury.

Any one notice this decline has coincided with Li Mao leaving to join Malaysian team coaching staff?

Lin too confident to be a great player IMO, he needs to apply himself.

Lin Dan lost to Chen Hong in a marathon in the semis of the German Open.

I wonder how much losing a set to the lower lights will affect his confidence. Right now, he looks likely to be ousted of all the favourites.

With no disrespect to MAL supporters intended that is a typical MAL performance, dominate the game until match point, then lose. :(

Better to have loved and lost however than never loved at all in ENG case!

Lin Dan took 81 mins to complete his first match and a further 82 mins in his second. We'll see how he responds tomorrow.
