Oh....got lah....all the yonex rackets are at the last row...behind the stringing machine there. :p but its best if u ask him for the racket u are interested to see....coz he has the habit of keeping some rackets away in the cupboards. :D

You think that's expensive. I bought mine here in Korea for 210,000won (but only 200,000 the second time after the first one broke)!! That is RM735 or S$325! It is basically the same price as in Japan. Canada was even more expensive when I could see the 5300 there. The Singapore price is similar to the U.S. price at SD Badminton Supply. Their US$105 translates into about S$175. But in Malaysia! I must remember that the next time I'm there.

Hey I noticed quite some carlton racquets at a shop in Bras Basah Complex today. I forgot the name of the shop but it is at level 3 (unit #03-55). Ranking is also at level 3 but it's not Ranking.

I didn't pay much attention to the carlton racquets but I remember clearly that one was priced at S$79 as a best offer. Is that low end to you?

You should have buy the goods at Dongdaemun instead of badmintonmall.. Its so expensive to buy at the website.

Well, I've never actually bought a racquet online. I buy from a local shop. I just find that the prices are not much different so I used the link as proof of the price. Dongdaemun can have deals but there are NO racquet specialty shops there. As I've mentioned elsewhere, you might find the top-of-the-line racquets in a shop there but to get to them you have to stumble over treadmills and dumbells and soccer balls. I prefer to support my local businesses, to a point. The one nearest my home is a tennis & badminton specialty shop and they have a nice Gosen stringing machine. Sometimes, this works in my favour. After buying 2 5300s and one 2400, they talked Gosen into giving me my 3rd 5300 for free after the 2nd one bought it in a mid-air collision. Plus, as I say, I'm not convinced that there is much difference in price among Dongdaemun, online and buying locally.

I not sure, depends on whether you know them well or not. They might not tell you its $90, depends on indivisual people.

    Carlton rackets..

If u happen to visit KL, u can fine some of the latest Carlton rackets like the Elite Superlite, Airblade Tour, PowerBlade Elite and PowerBlade superlite.Try visiting the RSH chain of outlets located in shopping centres throughout the country. I believed some of the Jusco outlets also sells the rackets, but hurry stocks are goin fast!!! Prices should be around RM190 to RM250... cheap if u convert to Sg dollars.. :)

In 10'n'10 (Bras Basah Complex, right next to Raffles hotel) shop NS8000TH was about 230 s$ and AT800OFF SP was 220 s$ (didn't see AT800 TH models). I bought the last NS8000, though that was already last week so maybe they got more already. They did have some sort of a campaign on Cab (20? was some special edition) racquets, don't know more because I was only interested in the above two models.
