Hmm...Firda beats Li Li...quite a surprise...but that's a good sign. The other surprise is Singapore's third singles...with Jiang Yanmei beating Maria Kristin. I never expected Jiang to play the third singles spot, especially when she has to play in the first doubles. The crucial point for both Malaysia vs Thailand and Singapore vs Indonesia team is undoubtedly the 1st doubles and it involves 4 pairs that are almost equally-matched. At the end, Saralee/Satinee and Jiang/Li won in 3 sets over Wong/Chin and Jo/Greysia. In the individual event, these 4 pairs will again face each other. This time, Saralee/Satinee will face Jo/Greysia (assuming they can overcome Malaysia's second pair) in the semi-final; while Wong/Chin will face Jiang/Li. It was heartbreaking for Malaysia as well because they were leading 2-1.
Dissapointed to Maria Kristin. Is really she played in 2st double when Ina beat Phil? May be it's better if she moved to doubles team...... Hoping Jo/Greysia and lita/natalia playing well in individual event

Nah..but not in China. Malaysia's will never make their improvement with foreign coach included rexy.
Three Chinese coaches, including Yang Yang, helped Malaysia to topple the Great Wall of China and in the finals, Indonesia, to win the 1992 Thomas Cup. As a consequence Yang Yang, Han Jian and another Chinese coach were handsomely rewarded.
