Naming disgusting foods might offend somebody, reason ??? A disgusting food for one person might be a delicacy for some other person/land !!!!

The most disgusting food I've eaten is onion - I hate the stuff!

Yes, I agree - What I regard as a delicacy is regarded as disgusting by most people I've introduced to it.
    Biltong!!

Thanks to this forum, I'm a convert to Bubble tea, but most people I've taken to the local Hong Kong restaurant find it disgusting as well! They've described it as frog spawn!!!

Hmmmmmmmm, biltong!!! Yes, it's cured meat (similar (i'm told) to American Jerky). Whatever they try to tell you, it's not raw meat! It's so full of flavour.

    .......hmmmmmm

dog testicles were an interesting side dish once. although it didn't even look like it, as the testicles were sliced thinly, it looked like some innocent slices of meat. i wasn't informed what it was until after i ate them. they actually weren't bad at all.

recently the most disgusting item i tried, and literally my system rejected it going down the food channel - pork bung - intestine. i suspect is was not well prepared, since it smelled exactly like it's function and traces of remnants from the former owner of that body part. YUK!

Yumm... fry me lots of 'em in them fried rice, big momma!

To me it's intestines and brains. I do like pork liver soup though, cooked with ginger and a bit of rice wine.

    You should try this...

one piece of pork tenderloin, sliced thinly (across the grain)
    2 teaspoons of soya sauce
2-4 blocks of preserved tofu (pending on the size)
mix all the ingredients and spread evenly on a metal plate
place 3-5 slices of ginger on top of the meat
drizzle 1 tablespoon of oil all over the top of the meat & ginger
    steam for 15-20 minutes
    enjoy with steamed rice, yummmm:)

    I think I'm getting hunnngryyy....

    Cheers!

This recipe is pretty simple. The hardest part is slicing the pork.

If you ask one of your parents to help out, I am pretty sure they will be very impressed! :) They might even enjoy this simple recipe! :D

    Cheers!
