Daniel S/Sara R-Petersen is a good pair, they reached (Semi Final ?) in 2005 World Championship in USA, KKK/WPT will have a tough match to play:rolleyes: !!!

totally agree.. i think this will be the close match of the quarter finals.. altho with nathan unfit he and gail might struggle against donna and anthony as well.. donna has always been a good mixed player (previous partner was simon archer and certainly his competitive spirit has rubbed off on her.. )

and the mixed is already started.. with Nathan and Gail screaming into a 9-3 lead.. mebbe nathan is mroe focussed now that he only has the mixed to worry about..

the 2nd game of tracey and mew choo is looking a little closer, but tracey's age could be getting to her now i think..

yao jie is hanging in there.. tight 1st game, but she gets to 13 before Yoshimi

Thomas and Kamilla aren't starting with the same explosive force as the no.1 seeds, but i'm sure they'll win..

15-10.. a bit lacklustre, but they've come back after time off, and playing ur countrymen is the hardest thing..

Koo and Wong are up now in what i think is bound to be a three game thriller, as previously mentioned somwhere the Kiwi pair made it to the semi's of the worlds. Koo and Shirley are both still in the MD competition too so it's all to play for..

anotther good start in the 2nd game by nathan and gail - 8-0 up already, showing they are still the pair to beat

Koo and Wong seem to be cruising, but mebbe came out hard, can the kiwi's reign them back in? - clearly they can.. going from 6-0 down to 7-6 up! wow!

Mew Choo and Tracey's game is dragging on service seems to be going back and forth with no change of score - looking like lasting over an hour unless Mew scores her last five poitns as quick as the first 5..

Thomas and Kamilla seem to be starting the 2nd game as the finished the 1st.. a bit slow..

Koo/Wong have taken an impressive 12-7 lead.

And Anastasia Russkikh is definately a great great player... leading 7-5 in second game with an unusual partner...

Hafiz is walking it against Spitko, altho the 2nd game may be closer i think

The Danish pairs must have known each others game too well, so an upset by Lars/Helle is not impossible.
I think Koo/Wong stands a better chance of qualifying the final is were to meet the new Danish pair, compared to the experience combo of Jens/Mette. :)

i think old man jens wasn't expecting a quick start. lars n helle put a quick start in.. think jens will have got going now :)

lars and helle look like a good pair tho, they beat blair and munt who are quite an accomplished pair, altho mentally weak in my opinion..

Jens/Mette fighting back in the second set....it could be a rubber game! Oh...and all players are still going to play in their respective doubles later on.

Hafiz almost there now....leading 13-8 in the second.
