I saw this on a TV game show the other. Can anyone solve this? Add the numbers up. 1. Deadly sins 2. Days in a year 3. The Sum 9 x 7 4. Numbers on a phone The answer was 5372 which nobody got..can any of you?
Sounds like one of those scam shows. They find a convoluted interpretation of the question and prey on people who think the question is simple. Premium rate phone numbers. Don't you just hate 'em? numbers on a phone 10 or 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+0 or 123+456+789+0 days in a year 365 or 366 or 1+2+3+..+31 +1+2+3+...28 +1+2+3+...31 +1+2+3+...30 ... etc (total is 5738 though)
Here's another tempter: How many dogs? **** the dog had 14 dogs and 13 brothers too. Every dog saw a dog & a puppy in the loo. (The orginial prize was £500-£1000 and chance to win jackpot of £50,000). Calls were charged like something 75p per call. LOL.
My guess is 15 **** the dog is one plus 14 other dogs 13 of them were his brothers so it doesn't add any more They each saw eachother so it doesn't add more dogs and the puppys in the loo are not called dogs...they were called puppies If the puppies were counted then I'd add another 15?
my thoughts depend on the 'tense of had - outliving all his pets' and would either be 1 or zero - given if **** happens to be a real dog, or could be a 'dog' if **** is also a ****...
I thought it was 84 dogs. **** = 1 dog + 14 others = 15 15 + 13 brothers = 28. Each one saw 1 other dog so 28 + 28 other dogs seen Each one also saw a puppy in the loo. 28 + 28 + 28 in the loo = 84. OR 112 28 + 28 others. =56 each of these saw one in the loo 56+56 in the loo = 112
