akane struggling with her movement, either she's carrying some kind of injury or she's just tired

I have strong reasons to believe that Yuta and Arisa might want to join their Saishunkan buddies to settle for 2nd later as well.

nah it's over sadly. no urgency whatsoever in her game, move so slow and rely solely on her racket to do the talking

none of the top 4 players are really in top shape in this tournament. ay looked good yesterday probably also because asy played even slower than her

Marin is a Matador Labrador. I mean even if Guchi wins G1, Marin will just overruns everything. fully deserved.

We don't need outside help! Just look at this impressive streak:

    Japanese Club Championship (Shida/Matsuyama)
    ATC (Shida Matsuyama)
    French Open (Shida Matsuyama)
    French Open (Yamaguchi)
    All England (Shida Matsuyama)
    Orleans Masters (Akechi)
    All England (Yamaguchi)
Orleans Masters (Hirokami/Kato haven't played yet)

It's unfortunate for Yamaguchi. But also gotta give it to Marin after her major injury.

What AY withdraw? If its Marin that is the one withdrawing while losing, people will be cursing her fairplay lol.

    Good interview.
Maybe Marin should continue to win more.

Wow, lots of hate for Marin, aye? C'mon, guys, credits where its due.

She's pointing at her hip and a spray there during the injury time out.

Funny tournament for them. With Dechapol & Sapsiree and Seo & Chae going out so early, they were more or less guaranteed a spot in the final, even before they'd stepped on court to play their first game! It was really just a question of which Chinese pair they were going to meet there.

Seriously, those idiots should be kicked out of the arena for the flash offense. It's infuriating!

This AE gotta be the worst AE in quite some time. consistent flash light from the crowd, players not being good shape, and not to mention the horrible grey court

I think the umpiring hasn't been on point either. It's never easy making calls but there seem to be many bad ones.
