Maybe seeing no fun anymore since both former champions, VA and LZJ already exited.

I have no idea why Fajar Rian didn’t just do soft block in the last points of the match, instead they wanted to do drive-fast party vs lee yang wcl,,,

but I did forgive them because they win tonight

Coach Ar to bagas fikri end of G1:

    - rather than high lob/lift, it’s better to do medium lift to the empty spaces in mid court,,, try to engage flat-drive fast

Bagas fikri relied a lot on the first three shot

they lost quite comprehensively in G1 especially when the rally become long

In terms of power, offense, defense, and tactical play, aaron n soh is one level better than bagas fikri

men singles right now is very competitive, unlike long time ago only Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei dominated the men singles in their era…

Aaron took 7 straight points at the front court from 11-8 to 18-8 at the resumption of the 2nd game.

What sort of bullshit order of play for tomorrow

Both Chinese XD pairs played their QF matches in the morning session today, and they will be playing their SF later in the afternoon tomorrow

3 out of 4 MS SF contestants had their QF matches in the afternoon session today, all 3 of them will play their SF matches in the morning session tomorrow

    Maria vs Akane
Maria tries to call her own let because of a camera flash.

Sorry to any Indonesian fans but this has got to be the lowest IQ moment of any professional badminton athlete.

This is a Super 1000 tournament, not some backyard badminton with friends. The umpire is entirely correct to award the point to Akane. Umpires are the only ones allowed to call a let because they're neutral to the outcome of the match. Players will never be allowed to call it themselves because it provides them a direct benefit. How is this even being argued?

    Viktor vs Ginting
A lot of people seem to be focusing on whether Ginting hit the shuttle before it had crossed the net.

Viktor's actually upset because Ginting touched the net and you can see this from the slowmo court-side view.

It didn’t. If you do 0.25x speed you see it didn’t cross.

As I said, Bagas/Fikri is always like that, beating Chi/Red just to make things easier for the other pair.

Does anyone see the net move ever so slightly?
did Ginting’s racket touched the net ever so slightly or the draught from the racket head travel?.

There will always be controversy in a match, today ASG may have the advantage but at other times he has also been disadvantaged due to controversy over the referee's decisions.
Apart from that, ASG did play more patiently this time and of course he deserved to win the match.

Impressive performance by fajar/rian against the olympics champion yesterday. bagas/fikri on the other hand...dissappointing. it feels like they have some kind of mental block against aaron/soh.
