I also think that Shetty/Rankireddy are very fair, polite and respectful. I have nothing against them personally. But I must say I do not enjoy their playing style at all. Its pure physicality. They do it with their reach and power and always move forward to push the shuttle to the middle. Its just such a hectic game with them.Thats why I don`t root for them. But this is of course allowed and they are currently the best pair in the wordl without a doubt. Must be incredibly hard to play against them, because you are under constant pressure. Not allowed to lift and playing the net is also tough because of their reach.

Yes. But I believe the Indians are even harder to beat at the moment than the other two pairs. However I am still counting on my new Taiwanese favourites

The way they play are more like an indonesian style of play. I actually like it especially since not that many tall players would have preferred this kind of playing style. ranki/shetty deserve a lot of credit for their attacking play because it's not just pure power imo, they use a lot of angles as well and overall just smart attacking badminton. look at the difference between them and li/liu back then for example. li junhui gotta be one of the worst top player at using his height effectively

How on earth he lost to some unranked danish player last week ? o_O

Yes, no one is unbeatable. They are close. But the Indian pair is number 1 at the moment and I feel that this is correct and deserved.

it is hard to perform well back to back in 2 big tournaments

for example, I always think Chen/Jia win 1 and lose another one after winning a week after.
    also for other players.
