The racket sound in this french open seems more crips compared to the previous years

Akane still lack match fitness. she looks tired in the 3rd game

One thing I notice though, if you want to beat ASY you have to play at a faster pace and put constant pressure on her. everytime akane decided to inject some pace ASY was always in trouble, same thing happened with TTY yesterday until mistake were creeping in at the end of the 3rd game. ofcourse you still need to match her basic game and put some deception in your shot because by playing fast alone is not gonna cut it

Watching Shida/Matsuyama play gets me mentally tilted, always. Shida's defence was so bad in the final 10 points. I'd say she's the reason they lost the healthy lead of 5 match points and the title.

They got to point 20-15 and they feel scared, that's why.

    Don't be brave to win.

exactly, man. 5 match points and still scared to win. it's not like they only had 1 MP and were being nervous haha.
This is why Chen/Jia are WR1; resilient mentality and will never ever give up the fight until the match ends.

St the end JP pair was on the defensive the whole time and when they got the attack it seemed kinda weak and not sharp unlike the Chinese pair.

Vitidsarn’s speed is unbelievable. He gets faked by Shi Yuqi and still can take the shuttle early at the net

Just watching the livescore of Chen/Jia - Shida/Matsuyama, I can imagine how Chen/Jia fought desperately with grim determination and never-say-die spirit to save the match by the skin of their teeth from 15-20 down. Amazing !

KV saving 7 match points but finally lost 19-21. After a back and forth WD, Gill said "I don't think my nerves can take it" if it happens again in MS. :p

Satwik/Chirag have an easy 2 game win against Lee/Yang. Satwik made a lot of errors today but they still had a buffer. Good match!

2nd French open title for SatChi. I believe this is their favourite arena. Olympics will happen here and conditions are fast, they should be the favourites. Of course run up would be crucial. But I believe they have a great chance.

TTY is really Ye Zhaoying. Good player with high error rate, very lethal when error rate is low.
