In the recently Completed Vietnam open, the only player I am impressed with is Wu Luo Yu. She beat a young Yoshikawa who is quite impressive. Wly is talented. She has good strokes and is well composed. She recovered in the first set so well and easily won the last point with a trick shot. She needs a stronger smash for the future. I am not impressed with the Ms. They have a lot to improve
Upcoming 2MS & 3WS Chinese Players in Bahrain IS. Yesterday WANG Zheng Xing (lefty) defeated Ravi -India. Playing with Indonesian Player Halim..Seen one long rally! Now with Chinese Team, IS & IC are heating up!

Looking forward to the Juniors playing next week. I wish CBA would send the 16 and 17 year olds who played and won recently out to international tournaments.
The current Korean junior tournament has reached the finals. The Ms semifinals were filled up by the 4 players from China. Zhang Zhi Jie was the champion in the recent U17 tournament and I am glad he was given a place to take part. He lost to Wang Zijun, a player I was quite impressed with. I am surprised the other finalist is Pan Yin Long. He must have improved to beat Hu Zhe An, the no. 1 seed. The WS didn't make the finals but China did well in the other categories. Let's hope the CBA will send more Juniors to participate in other competitions. I hope someone can post videos of these matches so we can see how much they have improved.
SF -- Pan Yinlong vs Hu Zhean:-- Wang Zijun breaks through to win the tournament:-- Glad to see Pan Yinlong back in the running after so long.
The final between PYL and WZJ was very close. Skills wise they are quite equal. However there is a difference in their playing styles. WZJ is more composed and has I feel, better prospects. Pyl is too eager and tense hence it will cramp his game. I hope to see both in future tournaments.
2023 China southern region U12-14 championship. These two girls contesting the semi-finals match are quite impressive. The girl in blue may be just 12+ years old. https://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNjAx...gv&sharekey=a58cf1d51b9b2550e92cc14eadc6f1482
Chirag Sen is just a scapegoat. India openly accepted it's defeat when it did not field their best guys. I was shocked to see Chirag sen's name . He was even thrashed by juniors in National circuit. I wondered how he entered BATC . Anyhow, congrats to chinese team.
I expected Japan and India in the men's final so I am surprised that it's Malaysia and China. China is basically a B team so they have done well. They are the under dogs tomorrow
Yes I agree. I think the junior Japanese women are quite good too. However, I am looking forward to China's U 18 players this year.
The 17 year old also beat an established japanese to take India to the final. She must be very talented
