So frustrating watching Fukushima/Hirota nowadays... won the coin toss but chose to serve?? so Chen/Jia get to choose to end at the easier side if it goes to a decider...

A wee shoutout to my fave umpires at the moment, Fabio Betto and Lau Chen Lea,
they are the only umpires that seems to be keeping an eye on proceedings,
calling out time wasting, unsportsmanship and keen to keep games moving, they are firm and fair.

I had noticed Chen Lea before but came to my attention after the Thoma Popov v Jan Lauda game,
I commended her and Malaysian members pointed to me her nationality.

I have noticed it as well. I don't mind when the commentators talk for a bit, as long as they are not ignoring the actual play. Gill can tell some stories, but if something noteworthy happens, she is instantly back to the game. She'll be talking about something, and then inbetween words, she'll say 'ooh nice backhand', and continue her story. Or if something extraordinary happens, she will abandon her story for a bit to cover whatever is happening in the game, and later get back to it; 'anyway as I was saying before...'.

I think that is the difference. Langridge needs to find the balance there. There have been moments where noteworthy occurences haven't been talked about because Langridge was taking his time making a point.

The yellow card is of no consequences.

He/Ren should be second CHN pair after Olympic. SF QF C and now SF. Peak age at 26 next year too.

Met LiuOu twice and beaten them comfortably is clear enough statement.

If he/ren can't penetrate the indians defense then they're in big big trouble

Anyone knows why He/Ren ranked 50 can compete at 750? Isn't Super 750 for top 32 only?

Chirag/satwik defense (and fast attacking drive) has been improved significantly this year… also some slow shuttle may help a bit maybe, but still, great improvement

Shetty/Reddy pair’s defense has elevated from ‘not so shabby’ to ‘comparable to the best’ territory
