If it’s her hand, I think she’s swiping sweat from under her chin, is that what you mean?.

Chinese MD - if I have a choice, I will put Liu Yu Chen-Ren Xiang Yu and Wang Qiang / He Ji Ting.
Ou Xuan Yi is bad for top MD, always the weak link. Same as Liang Wei Keng.

    Congrats Tunjung.

She is good example for many upcoming players, particularly from Indian Sub Continent/SE Asia.
She used to fear to Top level players (particularly with Sindhu's Smash earlier)..I think she lost to Kisona S (MAS) earlier in SEA Games?..
Now She has developed technical side of game/fitness recently & able to beat comfortably Sindhu, Yu Fei & others..
By the way, at the beginning, we used to see her as our relative girl (many of our relative girls has also same(Indian) facial futures)..

Her good results(story) surely inspire many young girls in the circuit.

Although SYQ lost to Viktor, based on his performance today, he is definitely china’s best MS player, in fact he should probably be up there with ginting, kodai etc.

I feel like China dominating all Tournaments recently. Many Top players from other countries injured or semi retired. Let's see how they prepare themselves to the upcoming Olympics.

Surely many minds(/coaches) are working on to defeat VA!. 1st priority for some country coaches, otherwise, they will be sacked if 2024 Gold is NOT theirs.

Prepare all you like but I can’t see any player present or in the horizon beating a fit Viktor Axelsen,
I’d love to be proven wrong, if a player like SYQ only won their first encounter and subsequently lost all afterwards,
and a resurgent Momota is still the only one with a positive head to head, it looks grim.

Oh really, that’d be interesting and a good marker for the state of play in men’s singles for sure.

She has beaten Sindhu once or twice in 10 outings. I watched her match against Yufei. Her game is very much suitable to beat Yufei as Yufei's game depends on her shot quality and control and lacks in power where as Sindhu depends on retrieving , power and pace, which Tunjung struggle against. That's why, she lose to players who are very good in retrieving and pace and power. Yufei gave Tunjung so much time for stroke play . I have seen her play the same game against Sindhu but could not defeat her. The reason is she lacks stamina to chase the shuttle all the time . If the opponent retrieve her very good shot , she has to run again , which she does not want to. If you see her body language, you are able to see lack of physicality.
