Is an Olympic medal not motivation enough? This is really his last shot at the olympics unless he thinks he can try for LA in 2028 instead
He still enjoy badminton alot. Personally i feel at this moment playing on homesoil will give him some advantages as he did show himself more when playing in local tournaments. However things go haywire when he compete internationally, im not sure if it is due to travel fatigue or not.
Any links to watch the current SJ League for fans of Japanese badminton? Sent from my J9110 using Tapatalk
good to see momota playing well. hope he wins this to give him a mental boost. is he using astrox 77pro?
I sincerely hope so and wish him ALL the best! As to the 99, some players in the pro circuit who have used it have said that there is too much hold on the racket and their opponents were able to foresee their stroke and punnish by lifting. So they switched from the 99 to something else.. c:
His SF match against Lei Lan Xi. Free flowing and confident Momota is still a joy to watch. Noticed that it's Keita Masuda on the coaching bench here in Gwangju as well.
He did show flashes of his old self in few of the rallies. So happy for him. Sent from my CPH2447 using Tapatalk
Great to see him playing and getting the win.. his defense looked significantly better than other matches this year and some improvement in smashes too. Fantastic to see him so happy, wishing him the best in Japan next week.
