TBH, being able to make it to QF is a great result for Pram/Yere 2.0.
Due to Yere's limited mobility and his jumping smash ability which was gone after being injured, this pair lost their sting.
Recently they have been seen trying to change their playing style by relying on shuttle placement, but of course it is not easy to play with limited patterns while opponents can change their playing style at any time.
Just wishing the best for pram/yere

seems like Chia/Soh nowadays changed their gameplay, noticing Chia plays frontcourt and Soh plays backcourt more often...

It has been like this since Aaron sustained his shoulder injury.

Is LSF only made for Super 1000 tournaments?

Audio from the commentators is terrible, super muffled and low in the mix. How has the broadcast team not picked up on this?

that's why Soh has improved a lot at backcourt, however he needs to maintain his frontcourt supremacy...

it is not surprising, actually can reflect on the results of previous tournaments.
Only MS and MD have small chances, the rest are only complementary to tournaments.
In the MS sector, Ginting certainly has a chance to win the title, but with the return of VA the chances are become slim considering his H2H is far behind Viktor.
In the MD sector, tbh hope is only in Leo/Daniel, but they are still fluctuating and tend to decline recently.
For WS, GMT level is still at super 300 and occasionally gives surprises by beating the top 5 players, but it must be admitted that she has very good progress.
The rest (WD and XD) ...are hopeless at this point

They need to maintain their level of play the whole game. they looked like totally different pair since 19-20 2nd game, didn't make that many unforced error like in the first game.

I can hardly hear the commentators.
If turn up the volume, the cheering is too loud.

I suspect Yere is still weak stamina-wise
He was also trying to get extra rest at the end of the 2nd game

how? Because Momota is playing like a super 100 after the accident

Otherwise, I suspect we would have a more 50:50 or at least 60:40 tournaments distribution among the 2 of them (like in WS)

Let's just hope ginting can at least force it to 3 games tomorrow.

Ginting was in demolition mode. He was so fast and powerful.

Li Shifeng still clueless how to handle such an experienced, crafty deceptive player as Ginting, who's controlling the net play as well as anticipating many of LSF's shotmaking.

Reminds me of how CYF took about 11 straight defeats to Tai TY before getting the knack of playing the Queen of Deception (the other equally deceptive one being Intanon Ratchanok).

Hope it doesn't take LSF that many hard knocks (losses) at AG's hands to stop the rot and start turning the tide against him.

I think LSF had a pretty easy draw, he might not have made it had he had faced sen instead of kidambi in the QF. Plus ginting is super on form right now, might have been a tighter match if it was SYQ, i think he has a better h2h?

Chen Yufei, words are superfluous. Great job overcoming An Se Young in two straight games !

The road to Paris 2024 OG is heating up any time now. Suddenly there seems to be no clear favourite in WS.
