    Here is a short review about the new machine from Tennisman.de

    Tension head:
    Good solid engine! Very quiet. What I don't quite like: the string could be a little bit lower in the gripper. The same problem as with the Wise.Maybe Simon will write a little bit more about it.

    Rails:
    A bit too rough. This also makes them a bit louder. But still good!

    Clamp base:
    Very well made. Good feel. Hold very well and do not slip. However, I would find it better if the holder for the pliers would be a pin and not a shaft (as with the Yonex).

    Clamps:
    The clamps are good and small. They hold the tension very well without making marks on the string. However, the imprint on the setting wheel is not the same for both clamps. Have tried to screw the screw differently on it, unfortunately without success.
    The outer edges could be a bit more angled to get closer to the frame.

    Turntable/Mounting:
    That is the best thing about this machine. It is really very good.
    The only thing I have to say is that the turntable could have a small brake so that it doesn't spin so easily. Not a locking break, just a break to slow down the table a little bit :)

    Terrific Review. Did you add that semi-transparent (Silicone?) compound to the supports that are in contact with the racket frame? If so, what is the actual product you used?

    Cheers

    No, the silicone was already attached. @s_mair now has the machine. Maybe he can publish some more detailed pictures.

    Thanks for the detailed pics. Is it soft or firm? Is it replaceable (looks like it)? I guess i'll wait for your detailed review.

    Cheers

    It's rather firm. Kind of a sturdy silicone tube filled with some kind of foam. Looks like it's glued in, so at least not really made to be replaced on a regular basis.

    Sorry, somehow missed that post.

    According to Tennisman, the first bigger lot is scheduled to arrive in the shop for summer. And yes, it is intended to also fit on the Deluxe with short base plate using the standard mounting screws that held the drop weight mechanism or a WISE. And I can already confirm that it works perfectly with the prototype already:

    Might not be winning any beauty contests, but imo doesn't look worse than a WISE.

    Lovely ! But it looks like the whole machine put on weight on an already heavy machine :rolleyes:

    Actually it's not that much heavier than a WISE since the chain drive needs less parts on the inside.

    @Cheung
    @kwun
    Any chance to move the posts starting with #71 to a separate thread called "iTennis stinging machines by Tennisman" or something like that?
