oh man I take my word back about Sony not aggresive on court! Seeing him up against Ng Wei on TV just now, man he started to attack more and more! He is much more aggresive compared to when he was back in Athens O2004! His cross court jump smash is just superb! And his overhead Jump Smah! WOAH mind blowing lol~ Bright future ahead of this guy! Certainly a champion
You chose the right man, Mrs Kuncoro! But I'm sure you must have a long queue of ladies waiting in line for him! When I first saw him play in Singapore some time ago, I was already full of admiration for this handsome young man, both in skills and in behaviour on court. I understand from this Forum I think, that he rose from very humble beginnings waiting on the badminton stars in the Indonesian team, players like Taufik and hoping to make it to the National Team, which he eventually did. Maybe you knew him better and may be able to offer us more information on his background. I hope Sony will remain level-headed despite his international success and continue to be a good role-model for the young aspirant.
