Hello last shoes i used is yonex aerus z after 3month of use i feel the cushion not support me very well my heel and toes begin to pain after drill session can anyone give me recomendation better shoes with better cushion? currently i have 3 preference 1. li ning yun ting 2. victor p9200ii tty or p9600 3. victor a960 ace any suggeston will very helpfull
Aerus are speed category shoes which are light sacrificing some protection. What are ur form? Big panda like me or slim? A Series are all rounder which give better protection but abit more weight. If you are slim, probably A series are enough for you. P are the best comfort & protection but the heaviest of all. I own P9200CC myself & hardly feel any heel pain using it.
my height around 175cm with weight around 80kg the problem i have knee injury history... is A series enough protection for me?
My form somewhat similar to u but 4kg heavier. My old shoes are A950. Ok protection but had to add heel insole gel for extra cushion. Now i use P9200 without additional cushion & doing fine even on hard intense games. Other good thing about P9200 is it had even more stable footing that A950. Somewhat heavier but im more confident on pushing harder than before due to the stability. So consider you had previous injury, i think P series is what you need. Cant comment about P9600 but as its P series, its likely had better protection than A series.
Yonex comfort Z 3 and Asics court control ff might also be an option for you. If you transition from aerus z, I would recommend the Asics since it still has the speed profile but with added gel cushioning. If you don't mind the weight or want to change to a more cushioned category, the P9200II and Yunting are great from my experience. They have very slight differences. thank u for advice For asics i dont thing is suitable for me I already test in store feel to hard for me or maybe need time for break in?? For yunting or p9200, which one had a better protection?
instead of buying new shoes, you might want to consider the cheaper alternative of just adding a stronger cushion insole. I have Yonex z3 with a Hefeluxx (basically Adidas Boost) insole that helps with the added cushioning.
Got it. In that case you may want to look into the Yonex Comfort Z? It wasn't available when I was buying shoes, but no doubt if I'm in the market for shoes that's the one I'd go for. I know this may be controversial, but have you looked at basketball shoes? Some, not all, may provide you the support and cushioning you need (The Kobes, the Curry or the GT Cut) and they shouldn't be too bad for badminton since they should provide the lateral support for side to side movements.
Basketball indeed had better cushion coz its designed for ..... Eerrrrr.... BASKETBALL. They jump really high, running, & all basketball movement pattern but not badminton. To some little extend yes it can be used for badminton, you could use volley ball shoes to if you want. Again to some little extend. But when you start dashing, jump smash, or ur movement become more intense, they do not provide stability for the intense badminton movement. At least lateral movement on basketball are not to intense.
The funny thing Before play badminton i played basketball until my knee cant afford to play basketball The shoes is not comfortable to play badminton like budi said
