There are people older than him performing at higher or atleast equal intensity.
After G2, it was obvious what was working and what wasn't, his persistent attempts to prematurely kill and allowing Kodai to take charge at the net costed him dearly.

When you don't know how to pivot mid game, and stick to strategies that aren't necessarily working at that time, it often results in desperation and then frustration. Which is a good recipe for errors. That's exactly what happened, I am wondering if Gurusaidutt pointed it out to him, or if he's capable enough to be the sole coaching chair at big tourneys.

Well played , Kanta Tsuneyama! All your training paid off. But most especially, keeping a strong mind during match.

As much as I am happy to see the change in Nishimoto and Tsuneyama's mental strength, I still think VA is hard to beat. Even for the rising star, Naraoka, VA is hard to beat. VA's current form is very good and he has worked hard perfecting every style that is suitable for a tall player like him. He is also very consistent.

Would like to see Dejan Ferdinan plays in MD. Really XD should be the last choice for these players. Gloria wont play for that much longer imo

Was there during the game today. He seems to have a right ankle injury after end of G2 and called for medical assistance. Probably this affected his G3 performance

I used to criticize players before. After watching Antonsen"s podcast with Prannoy. I got the chance to hear about other side of his story. He also mentioned about those comments from the people who watch him play give him advice after the match how he should have played . Even Antonsen agreed to him that those people outside the court doesn't know what happens on court , only they know about themselves.

    End of daddies era?
They really play like old man.
But they reach final 5 times last year but no winner.
Their still exist at top 10 world rank.

Daddies still managed to win a game from Korea power youngsters (i went to run after seeings 10-15 rallies).

With all the top seeds struggling, they will keep their rankings well.

Yeah haha but of course eventually it has to end. The best thing is they shouldnt retire like LYD.

only Natsir has a perfect endings retiring as WR2 /(3?) , but she was at the age. For AhsanHendra, let time take it all away from them. I think Boe retired at 39?

Personally if they can end top 8 , year end rankings. With all the youngsters gearing up for Olympic. This will be huge achievements. Need some injury to some other pairs too (like what happened in 2022)

The more i see Axelsen, the more i want him to keep winning.

to keep breaking any records imaginable. 50SS that LCW won might be a stretch but i just wish he can keep it going.

We will never see another European MS as good as him no more and how he keeps beating these Asian dudes, i like it.
