in my understanding there are broadly 4 tiers at the top of MS we are concerned with at this moment:
1st tier : VA aka default winner
    2nd : Ginting , LZJ, Cristie,CTC, LKY,naraoka, shiyuqi
    3rd: Prannoy, Vitidsarn , Sen , Antonsen
    4th- guangzu, jhao, srikanth

Agree with @Cunning Linguist that the seeding needs to be expanded to ~20.

I wonder how the tournament organizer arranged the seeding? I notice that Minions who are ranked 23 is seeded 2 while WD Rahayu/Ramadhanti who are the defending champion and ranked 11 is non-seeded.

Personally, I think Ng Tze Yong was tougher to win.

The coach was the main reason to make something harder for Naraoka.

Clearly, Ng Tze Yong know how to win and he has chance to win it.

I'm cheering for WD Jin YJ/C Wong. They are a PFR who gets into quarterfinal. They are ranked 29 but almost did not get into the tournament (if not for Matsuyama/Shida's withdrawal). Good luck!

Ginting and Christie did not do well last year. Indian team won Thomas cup and Prannoy was very consistent last year. So the order will be reversed

ginting and christie both did better than prannoy and sen in 2022 . current unfreezed rankings reflect that. thomas cup level has not been replicated since in MS .

Ppl keep discrediting kodais racquet skills. I’m baffled. Dude is a monster simple and plain. Let’s see nty play 3 setter against lzj and see what he does the next day..kodai has a certain swag that you don’t see in others

His name is Jeevan Selvanathan. He is a new commentator (at least for BWF official broadcast).

Today's MS QF, JPN has 3 representatives, the 3 KKKs. Who is mostly likely to progress?

Had the 4th K participated, we could have 4Ks.

Daren Liew obliged to his patron Victor to walk over. Aren’t both playing together in Dubai?

I think Vitidsarn needs to be in 2nd tier now. This guys is just very all-rounded and doesn't make that many mistakes
