this is seriously a good racket... very good and solid feel.. and below is a picture next to an orange ax99, for those like me who were curious for a side by side comparison..
in my opinion, it is stiff, it is head heavy, like a toned down ax99 orange (first batch, before they reduced the bp), but better than the ax88d and ax88dp

You should look into the Axforce 80 and 90 Tiger then. They're less stiff than Yonex head heavy rackets.

I could try the 77pro 4U for one session. I felt quite stiff. I hoped it to be less stiff.. In addition, it has a really solid feel that makes the racket felt stiffer and more tiring. Coming from an arcsaber 7 pro, it will take me some time to get used to the 77pro
I tried a 4u 77 pro the other day and it felt slower than my 4u 100zz. I much prefer the arcsaber 7 pro or the 100zz
@giggle have you gotten a chance to play with the new 77pro? Is it easier to play with than the 88dpro? Which type of player would perfer one over the other?
Yes, it’s my main racket now, and I’m enjoying using it. I very much prefer this to the 88 d pro. In my opinion the ax77 pro is suited for both front and rear court players. It’s not the fastest racket with an incredible swing, but it’s balance of stiffness and slight head heaviness makes it a very stable racket to pull off shots of excellent quality. Slow to mid speed games are lovely, while if you’re playing the mid court, using lots of drives and pushing, it will be slow. Anyway I’m using the 3u version, as 4u is too light for me.. it’s really a good racket..
Ah I see.. so basically this is a racket primarily for Singles play. Realised Yonex tend to create rackets meant for singles..
I wouldn’t say this racket is for singles players at all.. if you watched the latest games at thailand, lots of players who were on the original ax77 has upgraded to the ax77pro. And almost all of them are playing doubles
Agree with it. While I try this stuff, I feel 77pro is head heavier and stiffer than 88d pro I owned.
