Hi all, Just want to get some insight as to where to purchase these Ling Mei Shuttlecocks in bulk? I can't seem to find any of these pictures below. The tube has a phone number and email but there has been no response on both and these are sold at a local club. The local club offers a discount when purchasing in bulk, but want to know if there is somewhere else that sells these specific ones. I have seen other Ling Mei shuttlecocks online and have read that they do not play well and it seems there are a few different types of Ling Mei 80's and 90's available in the world. The shuttlecocks in the photos are of good quality. Located in Canada. 20220519_221752 by Kipper_34 posted May 21, 2022 at 4:43 PM 20220519_221759 by Kipper_34 posted May 21, 2022 at 4:43 PM 20220708_211537~2 by Kipper_34 posted Jul 9, 2022 at 9:13 PM 20220708_211519~2 by Kipper_34 posted Jul 9, 2022 at 9:13 PM
Where is the phone number and email? Is it local number to Canada? Does the email seem like a generic non actual business email address? The tubes seem very basic, almost like generic bulk, if it makes any sense.
The phone number comes up as Drivesport badminton. The number is 403-774-7211 / 1-888-288-2847. Email address is lingmei.canada@gmail.com The website to Drivesport badminton https://www.drivesportsclub.com/
Have you tried calling the Central Avenue Badminton facility? Or is that where you purchased / tried out the birdies?
That's where I got the shuttles from. There's also another group that brings these shuttles, just trying to get more information.
That's interesting, looks like Drive Sport operates out of Central Ave so even if you reached DS, you're kind of going around in circle anyway. Update if you find a solution. What's the price per tube (single tube or bulk) and can you give a comparison of where the quality fits, like better than Aeroplane Blacks, in between AS30 and AS40, etc.
Yeah Drivesport operates out of Centre Ave. The white tubes are $35 per dozen and the Supreme is $38 per dozen.
The Aeroplane EG1130's are better than the Ling Mei's. Quality wise, the Ling Mei's are like the Li Ning G700's, but the problem with the Ling Mei shuttles are that they slow down quite a lot as you play with them.
Maybe reach out to Ling Mei on Alibaba, social media, or other Ling Mei sites with the pictures to see if they can offer some insight. This may be just case where DS uses a wrap to designate the brand and model of bird while promoting their own branding?? Air freight shipping is high so any bulk from China, shipping adds a large amount to the cost. To lower it, have to go boat/surface but that takes a much longer time to receive and some suppliers/manufacturers require a large bulk quantity. Good luck with your search.
I've been meaning to get a hold of someone from Alibaba but haven't had the time yet. I've heard that shipping costs are high right now from China, but just wanted to get a pricing.
I would say that the shuttles are AS30-AS40, not AS50 worthy. The issue with the Ling Mei shuttles are that they slow down A LOT during play.
LM shuttles are available at Su Badminton Club in Mississauga. Have been using LM70 and LM90 from quite some time and they are worthy surely. Club buys them in bulk -1000 dz
