Do you guys think henry should put kevin with another partner for the time being So atlease he getting some sort if tournament play and not seating idol without evening being injured … i know Indonesia practice alot with random pairing but that isn’t the same as actually playing in a super 350/500/750/1000 series .

There's no hope for this pair, they need to be split up. if herry still doesn't want to do it then Indonesia might need a new coach.

Pretty sure many people were calling soh/chia hopeless just 2 weeks ago after they lost in Commonwealth Games semi final and now maybe they will become higher than Datuk
I don't think they will break up minion yet in the near future

Minions were given enough chances though, from 2017 WC, 2018 WC, 2019 WC, 2020 OG, and last this year WC. they couldn't even get a medal. I just don't get it why they don't try a new partnership, it's not like Indonesia lack good pairs right now, they're still dominant in world tour. the main focus should be finding the best partnership for 2024 Paris.

I wonder what would herry be without hendra/ahsan, they basically saved herry face in major event the last 10 years. even then he still couldn't deliver gold for INA at the olympics. maybe try to switch the partnership like he did in late 90s/2000 when he choose to pair tony with chandra and they ended up winning gold in sydney.

I think minions going to get to F in japan open maybe win! But WC was just them getting the jitters out being back after so long. but if they loose in 1st or 2nd round something is definitely up. And herry needs to smell the coffee and just let it go!

Marcus says he is 90 or 100% cant recall , and at 70% they was still reaching QF and SF and even won a series last year .

a weird thing i notice is watching coach ricky practice they always split the minions up during play! And play vs JR teams Why!!! Why not go all out daily vs daddies , fikri / bagas , babbies , rian/ aLfian .

image if kevin goes to XD LOL!!

Kevin won silver in junior world badminton championship mixed double. Back then he was playing like Yuta, flying everywhere.
Coach Herry did not think Marcus was potential when he was junior and that led to Marcus leaving pelatnas. The coach is not always right, but I hope at least he can be tough like XD coaches. If Kevin no longer can be pushed to work hard, there should be some consequences.
Marcus was almost fit but Kevin was romoured to be sick before they left to Japan, I tguess there was not enough preparation this year but they still go to try to get points.
Maybe they will be better in October during Europe tournaments. If not probably there will be changes next year

Even if they start playing better in October what's the point ? we know they're not gonna win WC next year, they were already given too many chances and they blew it everytime. like I said, the main goal should be finding the best partnership for 2024 Paris and it should start from now.

    Look at
Mohammad Ahsan, Hendra Setiawan, 38 and 35
Kevin 27 marcus 32 … they’ll be fine , marcus looks great and seem to loose alottt of weight and kevin so skillful he be playing till he is 38 which is another 11 years … kevin maybe will start wining WC in his 30s and alot of them b2b2b2b!

The minions seem to be fine and not hurt by these early lost, I do think they are trying their very best on the court and putting everything they they in the game but its just not working out as
Of now with marcus injury and kevin being sideline . After the matches you can see photos of them together smiling ear to ear! Because they know they put there best effort.

Ahsan hendra have totally different playing style than kevin marcus though. ahsan/hendra could play till they're 40 because they're much better technically and tactically, they never rely on speed to win their games. on the other hand minions playing style are much more physically demanding, once their speed is gone they wouldn't win as much.
